Even if I were a huge fan of the first film, I still wouldn't go
out and see The Legend Continues. But I will definitely hit the
Library once the DVD is in rotation.

I think I'd do the same-- this teaser didn't really do anything
for me.

I wouldn't even call it a teaser since there wasn't any actual
footage from the movie. It would fall under the PSA category
more than anything else.

It's halfway between an actual teaser and those awful
commercials FOR the trailer, which are a whole other level of
pointless.
I'm sure the fact that I wasn't alive in the 70s is part of the
reason why I don't "get" this series, but honestly, the BEST
reveling in the un-PC-ness of the 70s is the original British
version of Life On Mars. They showed the 70s as sexist,
dangerous, unhealthy, dirty, greasy, and practically primitive
and had a ball with it. And it wasn't even a comedy.

You know, I heard a rather interesting idea the other day that
the reason we're getting such a huge media advertising blitz for
"Anchorman 2" is because the studio knows it's garbage and are
pushing for a big weekend, because once the bad reviews hit,
it's over.
However, they also didn't think the first one was any good, and
they dragged their feet on this for the longest time, so who
knows how good the movie actually is?
