and what I thought of them. Told them they had a few choice
songs back in the day, the best being Free. So, of course this
song has been stuck in my head since then. Michael Sweet has a
great voice and the very rare ability to shred better than a lot
of gun slingers out there. Just listen to him rip on the solo.

It has been a week since watching CSI: NY and this song has been
playing over and over in my ear non-stop. This is such a
powerful song that I think it will do the same for anyone else
that hears it once or for the 1,000th time. Watching the video,
I got choked up waiting for Clemons to make his appearance. RIP
dude.

Every since completing Gears Of War 3 last week, the closing
song by Body Count that plays out through the credit roll has
been stuck in my ear. For those that don't know who Body Count
is, it's Ice-T's thrash metal band. He also lends his voice to
the Griffin character in the game as well.

What's funny is that when this video/song first came out I had
no idea it was the chick from ABBA. How would I know? I never
listened to or followed them. So when I found out, you could
imagine my shock. Really? ABBA? This is the only thing I like
that is in any way related to the aforementioned group. Love the
drums and the melody that plays throughout the song and the
vocals and lyrics are pretty cool too, thus the Earworm.

Did you know that is Phil Collins on the drum track?
He was super hot at this time and I imagine it was his
connection that got this track popular. His signature sound was
everywhere. I'll give credit to Frida's singing and song writing
too. It was a bold departure from Abba. But I think Collins
influence really bolted this to the top.
