Computer Browser Issues

Suddenly... and I mean 'today', I am noticing some things about
my desktop activities are different. Maybe it's just the browser
window.
I use Firefox. I notice an extra 'search' tab that always
exists. A tab that has search capabilities. Is this new to
Firefox? How do I turn it off? I don't like it all especially if
I already have a google search box to the side of the web
address.
Next, my web browser is starting to open up an ad to the right
side of the screen. About a 1 inch wide full height of the
browser. That's starting to get irritating. How do I turn that
off?
Finally my mouse is different. I now seem to have to left click
to get it to move. It sometimes becomes stagnate in the window
I'm typing in or hovered over. How do I change that to the way
it was before? I just want control whenever I start to move the
mouse. Not click and then move.
Arghhhhhh
Phucking piece of bastige iceholes.

I gave up on FF a couple of years ago for the very same reasons
you are describing. There is something under the hood that
automatically updates and adds new tool bars and other junk and
this is after I set Update to manual only. So, can't really give
you any tips as FF went the way of the Dinosaur for me. Also, FF
was and most likely still is....a CPU hog. It would get sluggish
very fast. Pages would take for ever to load.

Chrome isn't perfect, but for me it's doing the job and I really
haven't had many issues with it since switching over to them.
