You know, once I get some money my way I'm thinking I might get
a cheap Asus and play around with Ubuntu or, if it exists by
then, Paranoid Linux. I'm not ready to switch from Mac since
I've been using it for almost 20 years but I like the idea of
playing around with something different (and I guess I could
always try x86 on there if I don't care for ubuntu, but from all
the screens and skins I've seen-- it looks freakin' gorgeous.

I don't like Windows. Heck, I don't even have WORD. The last
Windows I used was MAYBE Windows 95 because they had it at
       school.
I poked around with that Windows 8 thing on some display laptops
and there's NOTHING built into those, not even Word, how am I
supposed to get a feel for how the computer feels if there's no
program for me to open up and TYPE in? All the options on the
Windows panel screen aren't included, what the heck is that?
       Just seems crazy to me.
