I say keep an eye out for this flick. Looks intense and pretty
damn interesting. I'm not even sure I'd classify this as a
horror film. Ignore the 3D in the title
I can't find any kind of release date.
The Mortician
In a new twist for 3D, "The Mortician" puts a filmmaker
interested in atmospherics and heavily stylized visuals at the
reins of a digitally shot stereoscopic live-action feature,
making for compositions that, while not necessarily enhanced by
the added dimension, look reasonably strong to begin with.
Considering Method Man's involvement is the only other angle
going for this vaguely dystopian, oddly disconnected urban noir,
the producers no doubt hoped the 3D would boost interest in
their slick but simple-minded fable -- and it probably will,
showing director Gareth Maxwell Roberts' otherwise DOA endeavor
has its finger on that pulse, at least.
was a surprise

for a dollar, I'll watch it.
Good gawd this was bad. In a MST3K kind of way. I know India’s
bollywood produce way more pictures than American studio’s, but
1) they do not know how to produce a good movie or 2) their
tastes are very far removed than other cultures.
The CGI was OK. Sci-Fi channel OK. The lead actress, Mallika
Sherawat, was absolutely stunning. Bad actress, but amazingly
beautiful.

The other actors were OK, but still pretty flat. The directing
and editing was horrendous. Long, long shots that should have
been edited down. Very little dialogue (and in hindsight, that’s
a good thing). The story was, well I guess, a myth India is
familiar with and make many assumptions for the viewer. Many
times I had no idea what was going on or why. I am absolutely
blown away, this had a bollywood dance scene thrown in. Why? I
have no fucking idea. Just a filler and weird. The dollar was
good to watch the sexy snakewoman - Mallika ;)

WTF!!! Good lord, what a colossal stupid freakin idea
'Zombieland' TV Series to Replace Sequel?
"The Walking Dead" is already making waves in Hollywood
as studios are clamoring to get their grubby mitts on their own
undead franchise.
Fresh off the record-breaking ratings for Sunday's Season 2
premiere of AMC's "The Walking Dead", Fox and Sony Pictures
Television are developing a potential half-hour comedy based on
the Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone starrer
Zombieland, says both THR and Vulture.
The project would be written by feature scribes Rhett Reese and
Paul Wernick and produced through feature distributor Columbia's
sibling unit, Sony Pictures Television with an eye on putting
the project into development for the 2012-13 broadcast season.
The feature film grossed $75.6 million, with a sequel in the
works for next year. A potential TV series, Polone told the
site, would replace a big-screen follow-up.
I knew it was just a matter of time before every Network and
Studio started rolling out their own Zombie series. Just like
they did with the Vampire craze, they will over-saturate the
airwaves, diluting it all to the point where I, along with
thousands of others will rebel and boycott it all. But why not
make a sequel? You're not gonna be able to get the cast to
commit to a series whereas a sequel would almost guarantee you
the return of the original cast.
:::sigh:::

Not an upcoming movie release, but it's horror related, so I
figured this is the place to drop this clip into.
