Osama Bin Laden Lives … In Low-Budget Zombie Movie
‘Osombie’[/glow]
So the public never got to see the death photos of Osama
bin Laden because he really isn’t dead. Rather, undead. At least
that’s the story a production company is going with in their
film featuring a very zombified ex-Taliban leader.
Utah production company Arrowstorm Entertainment has released a
film in which the former terrorist leader responsible for the
9/11 attacks returns as a member of the living dead. The film is
titled Osombie: The Axis of Evil Dead and was released this
summer (though we weren’t able to find where). The film pits a
NATO special-forces unit against zombie bin Laden and his army
of zombified terrorist insurgents.
The film’s plot features Zombie bin Laden and his undead
jihad-squad attempting to turn the world’s population into
zombified radicalists. A cursory glance at the trailer shows
that the film is offering the complete package: action, horror,
drama, even romance.
The film’s executive producer told ABC that the script was
penned before bin Laden’s death in May 2011. They waited until
the terrorist leader was killed before giving production the
green light. The film is shot entirely in Utah, which the
filmmakers say is surprisingly similar to Afghanistan.
“We have the view that we are not going to please everyone with
any film, but with this we know there are a group of people who
will love it and those who will not love it,” said executive
producer, Kynan Griffin. He also said that so far, response to
the film has been ”overwhelmingly positive.” Indeed, one
surprised reviewer on the film’s IMDb page confessed that he
helped finance the film through Kickstarter, saying, “I didn’t
think this was too bad at all,” and that “For a small budget
movie it certainly didn’t show the usual tell tale signs.”
Arrowstorm Entertainment’s Facebook page shows 141 likes, 17
talking about this, and zero recent visitors. Despite this,
their production values (observed from the trailer and photo
stills from other projects) show genuine sophistication and
detail.

Yet ANOTHER Nazi movie coming out.
[glow=red,2,300]Outpost II Black Sun[/glow]
Nazi Storm Troopers? World Gore III? Come this way, and
let us introduce you to Outpost II: Black Sun...
Heading to FrightFest in the UK later this month, before it
makes its DVD and Blu-ray bow, is Outpost II: Black Sun.
Starring Catherine Steadman and Richard Coyle, it tells the
story of Steadman's Lena as she hunts down a Nazi war criminal
who happened to be working on technology to deliver an immortal
army. And, in the words of the official blurb, when Steaman
teams up with Coyle's Wallace, "They soon realize that the
disturbing and menacing advancing army are no ordinary foe, but
a battalion of veritable zombie Nazi Storm Troopers."
To give you an even better flavour as to what to expect, a
trailer for the film has appeared. And the disc is available to
pre-order now, ahead of its release in the UK on 27th August.
We're promised 'World Gore III', and the film might just deliver
on that, too...

Looks can be deceiving—and that's disturbingly true in
the following clip from Frogz Legz. It's an upcoming horror
movie that catches viewers by surprise with its ...
developments.
Frogz Legz is a work in progress from director Corin Hardy. The
title gives you an idea of what it's about, but words don't do
it justice. Even though it's still in production, this
terrifying scene gives us an idea of what we're in for. The
completed film is expected to be out next year, but only time
will tell.
Frogz Legz preys on the unexpected. As a viewer, you never know
when the other shoe will drop. The camera's set at a P.O.V.
angle. We see everything but are at the mercy of the action
taking place. That's a vulnerable position to be in.
Without further ado, here's an attractive French woman who's not
at all what she seems.
[glow=red,2,300]Zombie Slippers[/glow]
Another hilarious thought...
Many people know that we have somewhat of a sweet spot
for zombies here at Bit Rebels. We love them! Well, maybe we
don’t love them, but we find them ultimately cool, if that makes
better sense. So far, we have gone through a lot of different
zombie themed products that are a must have for any geek or
horror fan. We have taken a look at the Zombie Cookie Jar, the
Zombie Skull Pen Holder and of course the legendary Zombie
Bottle Opener, just to name a few. Today we’re going to put the
zombies to better use. It’s time for them to get a firm bite
around our feet with the awesome zombie slippers. Wrap these
zombie heads around your feet, and you will keep them warm when
the power is out due to that zombie apocalypse everyone is
waiting for right now.
What more could you wish for when the cold is trying to bite you
from outside your door, and you are snugly planted in your
zombie slippers? Not even an apocalypse could push that cozy
feeling away. I have found a couple pairs of zombie slippers,
slightly different in appearance, which I am sure will make you
feel comfortable in front of that horror movie when the zombies
are roaming the streets outside.
The first pair of zombie slippers are made available by
ThinkGeek and are priced at $19.99. It’s a rather geeky price
for a pair of zombie slippers that will leave no one untouched.
The second pair of zombie slippers are made available by Amazon
and are a little bit less gory than the first pair. This second
pair has another feature that makes it slightly more fun, and
it’s priced at $31.98, which is a little bit more expensive.
However, it doesn’t matter what pair you choose, these zombie
slippers will totally reinvent your late night movie fashion. I
totally need to get myself a pair of these zombie slippers.
Since I’m a horror movie fan and all, I think I am going to go
for the more gory ones.
[glow=red,2,300]I'm Not Eating Out Of That : Zombie Head Popcorn
Bucket[/glow]
This is a zombie themed popcorn bucket designed by New
York ad agency Y&R for Detroit horror convention Motor City
Nightmares. The buckets were such a hit they intend to design
more and sell them online. "Finally, some decent horror-themed
popcorn buckets for movie night" we're all saying to ourselves
right now.
Thanks to carey, who agrees there just aren't enough novelty
popcorn buckets on the market right now. It's a real
shame.
The bottom of the bucket doesn't look right. It makes it look
like it was Photoshopped. Cool idea though.

[glow=red,2,300]The Collection[/glow] (2012)
The Collection is the follow up sequel to the very cool The
Collector. If The Collection is anywhere near how well written
and creepy the original was, it's gonna be another fun ride.
I highly recommend seeing [s]both[/s] the Collector
The so-called “torture ****” genre is mostly dead, but
has given way to a sort of action-adventure horror that fuses
elements of that particular vision of horror with other ideas.
That seems to be the slot in which to place The Collection,
which comes from Saw IV-VI writers Patrick Melton and Marcus
Dunstan. The latter also directs, and the film is his sequel to
the 2009 effort The Collector.
The story kicks off with a girl (Emma Fitzpatrick) going to a
secret party that turns into a murder spree for a killer known
as The Collector. Her father hires a merc crew to retrieve her,
and the film seems to go down the Aliens path, as the team
recruits Arkin (Josh Stewart), the one guy who escaped the
Collector’s lair to guide them in an effort to take him down.
A new trailer shows off some of the action and murderous ideas
at play in the film; check it out below.
Red Band Trailer NSFW
Thankfully, the producers recognized their folly and cut
a brand new red-band trailer. It’s everything the original
isn’t: Oblique. Ominous. Shrouded in mystery. Think of it as
horror impressionism — conceptual and atmospheric, not overtly
informative. What they’ve given us is a brooding sequence of
images that suggests rather than explains. And, my oh my, is it
eerie. I’d buy my ticket based on the final shot alone.
