Really not sure what to make if this. I get the feeling that
it's more than a remake, but a potential cash cow if they can
turn this into a series of flims, ala Halloween, Friday The
13th, etc....Messing with the original is just asking for
backlash from fans of the classic Sissy Spacek film. Having said
that, this would be a DVD release for me. Wouldn't even think of
seeing this in the theater.

Not even interested. Saw some screen shots of the characters.
Julianne Moore as Carries crazy mom did nothing for me. Let
alone Carries character who is just as iconic.
Let me go for it. I quit complaining about remakes... Not
really, but hey, they just might have a winner. It has happened
on the very rare occasion.

Saw the trailer on one of the lame ass movies I watched this
weekend.
Good gawd, the trailer looks like it's an exact remake, scene
for scene of the original.

I pretty much had the same reaction as well. I'm sure that when
it drops on DVD, I may still end up checking this out.
