HBO Legendary Nights

Back in 2003, HBO produced my all time favorite documentary /
retrospective series on Boxing called Legendary Nights, a look
back at some of the most memorable fights to air on HBO. It was
and still is awesome watching these from time to time. There
were 12 Parts in all and I will post them here if they are on
YouTube. Some of the episodes I've sampled have horrible audio
though, so I won't waste my time putting those up.
So, without further ado.........

If you've never seen this series, sample this episode. It's
great and the editing and writing is superb. This is one of my
favorites from the series and I chose to start this thread with
this particular episode first, even though it didn't air first,
because when I was a kid this was my first Heavyweight Boxing
match that I actually cared about and would watch from start to
finish. I had discovered Cooney a couple of years before this
fight and was just sold on him as a fighter as well as a
personality. I didn't like Holmes. He just rubbed me the wrong
way and I didn't like the fact that he was taking over for Ali.
They weren't even in the same class or skill.
