Gonna do a mini marathon of Lindsay Lohan starting tonight. It's
just gonna be the era of when she ruled the Earth and looked
cute, adorable and hot all at once. That got me to thinking of
how drastically her look is now, compared to those
oh-so-innocent times. The link above shows all the changes and
they are disturbing to see, especially the pic of her gnarly
looking teeth.

Somewhat similarly, I was thinking of watching "She's The Man'
in a cross-dressing trilogy: She's The Man, Just One Of The
Guys, and As You Like It. Gotta clear up some time in my
schedule for that...

I think part of meltdowns, people are totally self absorbed, ego
centric, iceholes.
I have NEVER liked Rex Reed. He was part of the landscape years
ago with movie reviews, so avoiding him was work. I actually had
no idea he was even around, or relevant for that matter. He was
never relevant to me, so I have no idea who listens to him.
What a douche. How does he exist still.
[glow=red,2,300]Melissa McCarthy responds to critic's 'hippo,'
'tractor-sized' slams[/glow]
When Melissa McCarthy's comedy "Identity Thief" hit
theaters earlier this year, it met mixed reviews. Some critics
found it hilarious; for others, the jokes fell flat.
But one reviewer barely bothered to focus on the film at all.
When veteran film critic Rex Reed dished out his take, he set
his sights on criticizing McCarthy, calling the leading lady
"obese and obnoxious with equal success."
In fact, that barb was practically kind compared to what else he
had to say. He also referred to McCarthy as a "female hippo,"
called her "cacophonous, tractor-sized." And then, after the
film found box office success, he claimed the hubbub his
comments stirred was actually responsible for the big draw.
As for McCarthy, she didn't take the bait, allowing the
controversy to pass without a word. But now, over four months
later and with the buzz behind her, the actress has something to
say.
In an recent interview with the New York Times, she opened up
about the infamous review.
"Really?" she said, recalling her initial reaction to the piece.
"Why would someone OK that?"
During her chat with the Times, McCarthy never mentioned Reed by
name, but did give her impression of him in the wake of the
review.
"I felt really bad for someone who is swimming in so much hate,"
she said. "I just thought, that's someone who's in a really bad
spot, and I am in such a happy spot. I laugh my head off every
day with my husband and my kids who are mooning me and singing
me songs."
While she said she didn't allow Reed's comments to get her down,
McCarthy admitted that if the incident had taken place when she
was younger, it would have left her "crushed."
Reed gave his reaction to the controversy shortly after his
initial review. In an interview with WOR-AM, he said, "Don't
make me a villain. … She's is crying all the way to the
bank!"
Now that her image is permanently tarnish, just wait for when
the gloves come off and you see the 'Real' Paula Deen. It will
be Mel Gibson-Epic. As for her comments, she is incredibly dumb
to think that what she said wasn't hurtful in any way. Get real.
I never really followed her at all before, but man, I can't look
at her the same way anymore, that's for sure.

I only saw her on occasion flashing through the channels or a
commercial/trailer for an appearance. My knee jerk reaction is
of disdain. I'm sure there will fan's in the same league as fans
of Michael Jackson, where blinders are put on, ignore the dark
side and in fact defend with illogical passion.

Her show got cancelled... right?[/s]
Nevermind, the video updated me on it.

You saw John Oliver's brilliant bit on her, right?
That dude's knocking it out of the park in a way I never
expected, and I expected a LOT.

I haven't watched The Daily Show in probably 6 months. My only
vice as of now is The Colbert Report.

Got a link?
I really don't know her. Don't really care, but just the little
bits I've been seeing of late, I don't like her.
She seems to be oblivious to her own lies. I can't stand people
like that. I've met plenty.
