Club Instructors

I don't know if this is the right place for this question or
not. My son is new to flying this year and I was just wondering
who we had as club instructors and who I need to contact about
getting him going this year. I would try to do it myself but I'm
not much of a teacher and I'm sure he would appreciate a person
with more patience than his father anyway. Thanks for any help I
can get on this subject.

Hello Steve,
On every Sunday weather permitting in the morning T.J. the club
pres. is always ready to help along with others on the weekend.
Durring the week in the morning Hermon L. and Wayne H. are good
guys to ask for help. Wayne usally likes to have the student
already have the plane trimmed and possibly a little futher
along in skills before riding shot gun. Hermon if he is out
there can do wonders with trimming the first flight. On Wednesday
mornings there is usally a lot of help available. Mike G. and
Wayne H. are usually there to help with safety and start up.
Almost everybody will help with advise and getting you on the
right track. Hope this information is helpfull to you. Chris L.

Or you can have him watch me while I am being retrained and just
have him do the exact opposite....but yeah...what Chris said.

I will second that. Also, I'm usually there on Sundays and
sometimes on Saturday. I will be more than happy to help you any
way I can. Enjoy the adventure in flying.

Some time in the past, I believe a rule was enacted that
specified only certain named members could serve as instructors.
I could not find that rule in my copy of the club bylaws, but
there may be some record in meeting minutes. If there is such a
list or requirement, perhaps it could be updated and published.
If not, nevermind.
