I added a new field to the Player Ratings google doc for player
contract expiry year for Adelaide and populated that list.
Appreciate anyone whos keen filling in a few more clubs.
I also added salary calculations to the first sheet, based on
next years salary cap. These are a baseline which will be
modified +/-30% in game by things like position (TFs worth more
etc), home state, loyalty etc.
Inflation set at 1.6% (based on available CBA salary cap data).
Rating distribution is going to be important for this also.

I have looked through the lists & I'll post my thoughts over the
next couple of days.
Found a lot of lower than ideal.
My ratings are a lot harsher than other people's thoughts. I
also don't care much for the "range" & variance people keep
talking about in the lists, most of that I believe is made up by
the consistency & finding the right balance in your best 22. As
been shown by the last 2 years with premiers being teams who
have come from nowhere as well as Collingwood this year. I think
Geelong was the team I was most happy with.

You've done a great job mate, and dont see it as criticism. The
game systems depend on distribution patterns for balance is all.
I mentioned in another thread I'm going to look at importing
these into the game in the next few weeks (we can keep fine
tuning them and re-import after the drafts). Having "real"
players will help me balance the match sim.

A few heads up things. The file is a bit all over the place for
teams. They also only include the players that I thought needed
a change, so retired or delisted players (that I can remember)
aren't included. It is much to the way I did PC 2011 lists for
the 2018 update. Some players will have just a rating or
position change leaving the other blank, it just means that the
blank one doesn't need a change.
Thoughts & ideas on it are the reason we're here so don't hold
back. If you really want I can explain why I rate the players
the way I do.

Thought I'd give an update on the spreadsheet, all contract data
is up (and as accurate as I can find) and have been chipping
away at getting the positions right for the players. Slow
progress but getting there.

Hello again everyone, this weekend I've spent adjusting due to
suggestions from a few as well as making some adjustments of my
own. Just wanting some further feedback on it to get it as
accurate as possible, distribution is okay until the 60-70
bracket, leaving not many players in the 50-60 bracket. I know
Adam was planning on exporting the data and using the players in
the game to test it more accurately so let's try and get it as
good as possible by the end of trade week. Cheers, Schods.

It is the most recent link, have been super busy today and won't
likely get much time tomorrow so last two days worth of trades
not yet in the correct sides.
