Uh is anyone out there? {joining}

[font=times new roman]Ferrarius Glacies Azul walked along the
canyon floor solemnly. He had been walking for days -moons even,
and was still in what he thought was the middle of no where. His
left forepaw trembled as he walked, his pace quite slow, knowing
his disability. He was so young when his clan died of the
plague, with only few survivors. The hot sun shown down and
warmthed his black fur. He had been in moons of cold winters so
this was relaxing on his pelt. Icy eyes gaze over the plains in
the horizon when he notices tunnels in the canyon wall. Being
the curious young cat he is he decided to take a look. "Hello,
uh is anyone there?" He said a little shaky.
OOC; I didn't really know what exactly happened to Bloodclan so
I just put the plague if you didn't mind.[size=8pt]

Desertstar had been lazing about just right inside the entrance
to the tunnels. When a nervous yet hopeful voice called out, she
glanced over to its source. The cat was a little thing, starved
and mangy. It was a depressing sight for someone like Desert,
who had seen (and even suffered from) starvation at many points
in her lifetime. Feeling compassionate, Desertstar exited the
tunnels, muttering a curse under her breath when the harsh light
hit her, and made herself visible to the tom. It would usually
be difficult to spot a member of TunnelClan when they were in
their territory, seeing as they blended right in, but Desertstar
felt that she could reveal herself to the damaged feline. "I
am," she replied clearly, head held high and eyes looking down
upon Ferrarius with pride. "Who might you be, child?" Desertstar
asked as she slowly descended to the canyon floor.
OOC} that's fine, but we aren't bring the plague here for quite
some time.

towards him. She female voice seemed to blend in with the
tunnels. "Ferrarius Glacies", he replied. Ferrari gave a nod,
more like a bow of respect to the she-cat in hopes of some
help.[/font]

"Are you a loner? A Rouge? Possibly even a member of another
Clan? I'd like to know," Desertstar asked, blue eyes scanning
the dark furred tom before her. A small sliver of affection
shone through her eyes. She had never had kits of her own, and
part of her wanted to reach out and groom Ferrarius until his
coat was as sleek and healthy as hers.

[font=times new roman]Ferrarius liked how the other cat was calm
around him. The other cats he had encountered had run off at his
sight. "I was born from a clan called Bloodclan. My father was
the leader, but after a while something terrible happened. A
sickness came and everyone went crazy and either ran away or got
ill. I waited until the clan had completely disappeared until
leaving our territory", he told her shyly. He didn't know who
these cat was, even her name, so he didn't want to say much. Im
looking for a clan, I don't want to be a loner, he began to tear
up a little, What is your name? Do you know where I am?[/font]

Her heart went out to the distraught tom. A bit of worry also
rang through her at the mention of an illness that caused cats
to go crazy and die, but Desertstar shoved that problem aside
for later. "Desertstar," the lilac tabby point told him. "I'm
the leader of the Clan who lives here: TunnelClan."

[font=times new roman]At the sound of a clan's name Ferra's eat
perked up. "Oh please Desertstar, please allow me to stay with
your clan! I'm ever so desperate!" The young tom pleaded with
the leader. He really liked the leader and hoped she would let
him stay. A slight breeze picked up cooling off the tom from the
harsh heat.[/font]

Desertstar blinked in surprise at the sudden begging. Well, at
least she had caught his bad trait early. With a sigh, the lilac
tabby point nodded in agreement. "Alright, but no matter how old
you are, you are going to go through six months of training as
an apprentice to prepare yourself for being a warrior," she
meowed, voice stern. "And until you earn my trust, I will be
keeping an eye on you."

excited to be accepted. He couldn't wait to train and prove he
could be trusted. Suddenly a low rumble came... His stomach.

Desertstar smirked in amusement at the sound of the loud
rumbling of the tom's stomach. "I'd give you something out of my
private snake stash, but I think you need something a bit more
meaty. Bird meat is really tough right now...desert rat, maybe?
Do you like desert rat?" the lilac tabby point mumbled, though
the last bit was louder. "We have some in the tunnels stored up
for anyone who's hungry."
