the silver chinchilla meowed as well as asked, sure she was
patient, but really she didn't like being kept in the dark about
something, though she also noted the quick explanation.

"Now if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise" he sighed "so you
can wait a little while, give me time to get everything ready"
he explained with a sigh. "Now you better return to camp before
they notice you are gone..." he paused "Will i see you tomorrow
night?"

Morningpaw pouted, "Well I guess it is getting a bit late, and
I'll see if I can make it tomorrow, if not we try within a week"
she ended up replying.

He nodded in agreement and backed away without a 'goodbye' or
anything, he just turned and bounded away.

Morningpaw watched him leave, and when he was fully out of site
it was then she let her smile slip, what was his plan? Well she
knew at that moment, she really needed to tell someone about
Decay, though she didn't really know why all of a sudden, she
trusted the tom, and surprisingly with her life, but there was a
different glint in his eyes as he muttered to himself, a glint
she really didn't trust.
The silver chinchilla apprentice only sat there for about two
minutes or so before she got up and slowly made her way back to
the barn, who should she tell, she didn't want to tell her
mentor just yet, she would only tell her not to see him and not
to trust any outsider, or something along the lines of that.
What about Smooth, would he be able to give her some advice, or
keep the secret with her, he did say that she should be able to
trust him.
Morningpaw was still deep in her thoughts, that she didn't
notice that she walked past the barn.

Smoothpaw was coming back from another hunting trip, this time
on his own. An attempt to distract his mind really there was
nothing else to it really, that damn she-cat was haunting him.
He noticed her silverish white pelt wobble straight past the
barn.... alone... He dropped the kill he had made and bounded
after her "Hey Morning!" he called wondering if she was alright,
she was the type to go into the barn and not come out for
sometime, but to avoid it that was just weird. The large bob
tailed tom instantly got annoyed with himself 'right you mouse
brain dont seem so eager to see her again, you will have to tell
her what you decided later, now clearly isn't the time' he
thought to himself. He paused and went from a bound to a walk as
he waited for her to reply, something was different about her,
something wasn't right..

Morningpaw was once again pulled out of her thoughts, she turned
her head and saw Smoothpaw bounding over to her, well the smile
that came onto her face was an instant reaction, but the smile
really didn't reach her eyes this time. "Hey Smooth, I see you
were out again.....Hunting?" she greeted back, 'did he notice?'
she thought to herself

"yeah hunting again i got bored" he meowed not allowing her to
get away from the subject "You walked straight past the barn,
you looked lost in thought too what's up" he meowed getting
straight to the point not allowing her to doge this at all,
knowing her she would at least try to get out of the question.
But that damn smile... why did she smile at him, this was the
second time she had smiled at him when she's spotted him.. Was
she trying to give him a false hope?

Morningpaw only blinked a couple of times, before looking back
and actually checked she did walk past the barn "Oh look, I did
walk pass it" she forced a giggle at that and added "Good thing
you called out, who knows where I could have walked to" it was
only after she spoke the second part, did she looked back to
Smooth "I'm probably just over thinking it, just a small riddle
that Darksun gave me during our patrol" there she lied again

He narrowed his eyes "I saw Darksun earlier..." he growled
picking out the lie this time she wouldn't get away with it
