Why isn't everything {p}erfect

Morning couldn't really remember how she managed to get into
contact with the tom who she was meeting once again, but she
knew now it was all too late for her to not meet up with him
again, and she also knew that there is all but three possible
outcomes with this, one, he would join up with Barnclan and live
with her within the clan, two she would leave barnclan and
travel around with him or the third, they go their separate
ways. The silver chinchilla really didn't want to do the last
two options, especially with her new friendship with Smooth, but
if it really came down to it, the apprentice would most likely
leave barnclan and that life behind her.
Morning had been waiting for a little bit, but she guessed she
should be use to him showing up late. Though it was more habit
that she left and arrive here earlier, but she just hoped that
Darksun didn't come back from her hunting trip too soon and if
she did, hopefully Smooth doesn't notice.

Decay smiled, seeing her pelt though the grass, of course she
had come... How couldn't she this she-cat was head over heals
for him. He stood from his hiding place and made his way over to
her "wow who's that tom without a tail you where with earlier"
he meowed trying not to sound too protective but then again if
he didn't ask it would be like he didn't care... He smiled his
normal 'loving' smile to her, making sure to keep eye contact...
If his father had taught him anything it was how to trick a
female into loving you when she really shouldn't. Either way she
was the first ever victim and he would admit only to his father
he was struggling to keep his real feelings out of this..

Morning was pulled out of her thoughts as she heard his voice
and her smile grew just that tad bit bigger, "Thats just
Smoothpaw, a fellow apprentice of the clan" the silver
chinchilla she-cat replied and added "He is a bit of a grump
though", it was hard for her not to fall just a bit harder, when
she was shown that 'loving' smile, it was probably enough for it
to melt any she-cat's heart.

"So hes just a friend I shouldn't be worried?" he meowed to her
leaning over and licking her check, he had to keep telling
himself not to feel anything she's just a toy nothing more. He
looked around "Also you are sure no one followed you here?" he
asked before adding "when do i get to meet all your clan mates?
Have you even told them about me?"

"I can't really say he is a friend, since today was the first
time I really spoke to him" she replied with a small giggle,
which was from him licking her cheek. "I am sure that no-one
followed me, I double checked before heading here" Morning
answered the first question before answering the other two
"no-one knows about you just yet, I'm just waiting for a decent
time before I tell my mentor. Are you thinking of joining or
something?"

He smiled at her and purred "Maybe I dunno, I think we should
wait a while and if your clan mates are accepting i might join"
he lied straight through his teeth, there was no hint he lied
you wouldn't be able to tell unless you where some sort of mind
reader. He smiled at her "How can you have only met this tom
today when you live together?" he asked slightly confused

Morning decided to let the subject about him maybe joining up,
drop, but she might pick it up again later. "Well I have seen
him around, but never really thought of talking to him, since he
is really serious about his duties and that he really never
played as a kit, so I just kind of let him pass my mind" she
explained, even though it really wasn't an explanation

"God I dont understand you clan cats sometimes" he muttered
looking at her eyes, "So how have you been since we last saw
each other?" he asked her, trying to keep conversation going.

"Only about a week" replied Morning and added "It hasn't been
all that long, but I have to ask, what did you do during your
time?"

He shrugged "What loners and rogues do best, explore, find new
den things that we can use at a later date, hunt and sleep
really" I managed to run into my father, from what I told him
about you i think he likes you" he purred to her, he didn't want
to keep this act up forever she needed to feel like she had to
leave the clan soon.. right....
