Territory
Boulderclan territory is based in a rocky plain, though the
cat's don't fear going up onto the so called hills for what ever
reason. These cats are clearly designed for climbing, muscular,
strong bodies as well and amazingly tough paws as most of their
lives is spent on the rocks. Much of their time is spent in the
shadows so it seems like they are not there at all, they race
over boulders like they could do it in their sleep though it
takes moons of training to do; make a wrong move and you could
fall to your death if someone wasn't close enough to catch
you. These cat's are often described as rough and crude, the
other Clans do their best to steer clear of BoulderClan's
intimidating territory.
Camp
Camp can be difficult to find, it appears to be in the mountain,
you must climb down a crack between two boulders and you come to
a clearing hidden in the rocks, extremely safe as you need to be
small to enter the camp. Dens are scattered all over the place;
pretty much where ever there is a gap large enough, there is an
old mine that is used as well- cats tend to sleep where ever
they wish as there is no set den areas. The medicine cats are
located in the mine area however due to the cooler temperatures
herbs last longer.
Member qualities & Skills
Members of Boulderclan tend to be very muscular yet very agile
at the same time, a common trait among the clan is a very long
tail (used for balance). These cat's tend not to care for the
other clan's, they have no need to hear of their problems so
they have no need to care. Fear isn't spoken of, if you have
fear you should be in the nursery with the rest of the kits, you
need strength and confidence if you wish to live in Boulderclan.
Boulderclan strives to teach speed, strength and extreme skills
of both hunting and fighting into every new warrior; they need
to constantly adapt to the rough territory meaning once things
are learned it is not surprising if you have to learn something
new to keep up with the forever growing need of the clan.
This clan is commonly featured with darker colours, grey's,
blacks, dark browns - very minimal light colour's are in the
clan- very little if not any white.
Weather
Currently: Summer
Rocks are hotter during the day, meaning most work is done
during the night, or early morning when the rock's are colder,
the land is dry and pray is difficult to come by.
Prey
mountain shrew
Mice
Lizards
"Pika" (small mountain type rodent)
Small birds
Large birds
Rabbits (on the lower parts of the territory)
Predators
Big horn goats or other such large goat creatures
Big cats [cougar/puma/mountain lion]
The occasional snake
Sometimes large birds prey on them [depending on how much food
is around]
Positions
Leader: Coalstar roleplayed by me.
Deputy: Open
Medicine cat: Open
Medicine cat apprentice: Open
Medicine cats can have mates!(same as other Hp's)
So... medicine cats can have mates eh? yus they can! There are a
few things- if you are the MC or MCA you must talk to the
"leader" to discuss the potential mate you are taking on- it is
only allowed to happen once, once you are mated that is it for
life- kit to anyone else and you have committed a crime and must
pay for your sin. Your "mate" must be able to help out with what
ever position your cat has, example:: if your MC and there is
and out break of something your mate must be able to know what
herbs you need to be able to fetch them for you- saves precious
time! So the mate of the MC must know basic herbs to benefit the
clan!
More benefits might be added later! Keep an ear out!
