Th Academy - RP Thread - Grande's First Day

It was Grande Academy's first day. Mason and Emmaline woke up at
exactly 7:15 and jolted out of bed. Time went by as they chose
their outfits, barely having time to talk to each other. Mason,
put on a blue t-shirt and white shorts. He stood by the door
with a banana in his hand. The potassium was good for his
voltage. Emma soon stood next to him wearing just skinny blue
jeans and a black t-shirt with a black hoodie. He purple hair
neatly spread around her shoulders. They gave each other a nod
and walked out the door. They walked silently and quickly
knowing that their lives were at stake just by going to a normal
high school. They finally arrived at the school. It wasn't their
first year so they knew some people, but were mainly looking for
the other 2 powered students.

[center][font=georgia]"Miss, it is time to wake up," a servant's
calm voice gently woke Bella from her dreamless sleep
immediately. The servant had turned the light on, revealing the
large, dome-shaped room. Slipping from her pointlessly huge bed,
Bella glided to her walk-in closet and selected skinny jeans and
a cropped dark gray trench coat and looped a bright pink scarf
around her neck. Without speaking, Bella laced up her combat
boots and slipped on a soft white slip-on hat and wool
fingerless lighter gray gloves. The rich mafioso glided from the
closed to her vanity where a maid deftly applied her makeup and
brushed her hair into dark golden waves.
"Have fun at school, Young Mistress," the maid told Bella with a
curtsy.
The blonde student grinned, "Will do," she chuckled, walking
from the room and to the front door after checking the time:
7:30. A maid handed her a banana before Bella walked through the
front doors, which she accepted with a nod and pealed it, eating
it in a few bites before handing the peel to a nearby staff
member and stepping into the limo that awaited her. Her driver
brought her to the front gates. "Thank you," Bella told the
driver, grabbing her dull blue messenger bag, which contained
her schoolbooks, and black purse, which held her makeup, wallet,
and gun. She strode through the doors of Grande Academy,
blue-green eyes darting around the crowd. Bella took out her
ancient-looking book and leaned against a pillar, alert but
quiet as she awaited someone to approach her.[/font][/center]

Florencio Stallings had been up since 6.30, though its not like
he places a lot of time on his looks, it was all for walking
distance between his house and the school. Florencio chose a
plain loose fitting white top and loose black trackies. The
smallish teen was out of the house by 7, it would only take him
half an hour to reach the school, arriving only a minute after
Bella was dropped off at the front gates.
Kathrin Lomax had somewhat gotten a hang of her powers years
before she was able to attend any sort of school, her parents
were just scared of loosing her to the government, or something
like that, though her powers wouldn't be quite any use. The red
head was wearing some worn blue skinny jeans, with a nicely
fitted aqua blue tank top, though she made sure that she had
packed a jacket in her bag, just in case it got a bit cold.

[center][font=georgia]The 17 year old glanced over at Florencio
and Kathrin, noting Florencio's flushed cheeks which hinted at
being out in the cold for a prolonged amount of time, which
Bella assumed was due to him possibly walking. She nodded at the
two of them separately so they knew she acknowledged them and
grinned, showing off her pearly whites. The Semaforos were
pretty well known, and Bella assumed they knew of her, being the
daughter of the family head and extremely rich.
Bella glanced over at Mason and Emmaline as well, noting the
small similarities about them and coming to the conclusion that
they were the Claire siblings. Bella had done her homework and
knew that they were both users of powers, Kathrin as well. From
what she knew, Mason was a light-based power, not unlike her
own, but at the same time so different. Emmaline had some sort
of godlike power of creation, but was very secretive unlike
Mason. Kathin was not classified as dangerous and could heal, a
good asset in a fight. I will definitely be getting to know
these people, it wouldn't be good to make enemies with the
Claire siblings and Kathrin would prove to be useful if one of
my targets gets a lucky shot. Bella thought, her grin doubling
in size.
Bella smiled in Florencio's direction as well, not wanting the
other to feel left out. She slipped her book into her bag and
leaned back, crossing her arms as she awaited the four people to
come to her. No doubt they knew of herself being powered. The
other families containing powered children most definitely knew
of the Semaforos' steady production of successful light
users.[/font][/center]

Emmaline saw Kathrin and Florencio approach and practicaly
elbowed mason in the shoulder to get his attention. She could
tell that Kathrin had a power, she could kind of sense it in a
way. Then she saw Bella. This girl, one of the most popular out
of the 'special' kids she remembered. Her power was light, but
yet very different from Mason's. She could tell by the slight
glow in her eyes and the way the sun bounced off her skin.
Emmaline also had remembered Bella and Kathrin from her previous
year at Grande, being in eleventh grade. She decided that it was
getting boring standing by Mason so she went over to Bella and
when she walked motioned Kathrin towards them.
Mason, annoyed with Emma, sparked a little. He looked down at
himself remembering to control it. He noticed Emma decided to
walk somewhere else and turned her way. He then saw that the
others were here, Kathrin and Bella. He also saw Florencio
Stallings, a kid he remembered very well since most of his
classes were with him last year, and he had accidentelly sparked
around a lot. Mason decided to join the group and swiftly walked
closely behind Emmaline. As he got closer he remembered them
even more, he also remembered his schoolboy crush on Bella. He
thought he was over her, and hopefully it wont distract him.
"Hi", said Emma and Mason together in unison. The glanced at the
others silently.

[center][font=georgia]"Mason and Emmaline Claire, yes?" Bella
asked, a slight Italian lilt evident in her calm voice. "I
believe we were here together in the last semester, and I am
aware of our similarities." Smiling, Bella allowed an arm to
drop casually to her side and allowed a small globe of light pop
out, dispersing almost immediately after its appearance. Her
eyes scanned the crowd to make sure one with no knowledge of her
powers saw, dreading what would happen if someone did, and
relaxing when the display went unnoticed. "It is a pleasure to
be acquainted with such a lovely signora and a handsome uomo.
You most likely know of me, though out of manners I shall
introduce myself. I am the sole daughter of the Semaforo family
head, Bella Melodia Semaforo. I look forward to the school year
with you two."
With her introduction finished, Bella glanced over to Florencio
and Kathrin once again, silently willing them to come to her.
Allies were essential to her, especially with these four, along
with a fifth powered student that she hadn't seen
arrive.[/font][/center]

Kathrin was planning on avoiding Bella, knowing full well of her
family line, but the red head seen the silent requests from the
Claire girl and not much longer after some introductions between
the Claire kids and Bella, Kathrin caught the glance over her
way. Letting out a sigh, the red head teen changed her course
over to the other three 'power' students. "Well hello all"
Kathrin casually greeted.
Florencio was still slightly out of breath from the walk, but he
wasn't cold, though he knew that he might need to get inside or
put on his jumper soonish. Even with the slowly forming crowd,
this teen was still able to managed to catch the smile that was
shot his way from one of the older students, Miss Semaforo he
guess. Florencio also managed to spot Mason and what he assumed
was his sister. He was about to head over to the group but
decided against it, he doubted that he would be welcomed or they
would end up using him, that actually happened a lot before
coming to this high school. No, they would need to approach him
first.

greeted with a grin and a nod. "I have looked forward to meeting
you all very much when I heard Grande Academy would be welcoming
powered students with open arms. There is much I have heard of
you, amici, though I would love to hear more about your gifts
during lunch. I am off to fetch my schedule, if any of you
should like to join me," Bella announced, straightening herself
and hoisting her bag and purse up onto her shoulder. Her
blue-green eyes flicked over to Florencio, as she had noticed
his half step beforehand before he retreated back. Bella
silently noted to approach him should he be in any of her
classes.[/font][/center]

Emma silently went into the building of the Academy to get her
schedule, Mason followed behind. They picked up their schedules
and went to their first class, History.
