[font=georgia]It hurt to know she had abandoned her clan.
Starclan, as punishment, took her sight. It was a damn well
surprise that she wasn't crowfood by now, but Starclan let her
scent the bordergrounds of her old home, and she stumbled over
them with awkward paws. Carmensong was still a pretty face, and
still had her nine lives--she'd be around Thunderclan for a few
generations before dying... that's if, Thunderclan would forgive
her of her shortcomings and allow their seemingly "disappeared"
leader to come back to her home.
"Hello?" she collasped on her side, pawsnumb as she looked
around with milky blue eyes, sightless "Please tell me I'm in
the right p-place...? Oh, Starclan..." she shivered. She wished
somebody would hurry before she perished (good thing she had
nine lives) but still...[/font]

"carmensong?" flightlessstar's shocked voice rang out. she ran
to the she-cat and skidded to a halt, inspecting her. "great
starclan, what happened? do you need herbs? water? something to
eat?"

Rayclaw heard his mates meow, something wasn't right. The deputy
followed the sound, though normally he would scent but due to
having a rather plup rabbit in his jaws that sense was taken
from him. He came around the tree to see Flightless with Carmen-
or starclan what was the rest of her name?! He had only been
young when she was still in the clan not all that long ago. He
dropped the Rabbit "you okay?" he asked the she-cat, she didn't
look well but he had a gut feeling she was once some one
important.

Hazysoul heard the commotion outside and decided to take a look.
"Oh, I am afraid I don't know who this is", she murmured. She
hadn't been medicine cat when Carmen was around.

voice, recognizing their former leader at once. The feline who
had taken over after Renesmee had died. "Great Starclan! You
have been gone for a long time!" squealed the young feline. The
last time she'd seen Carmensong was when she was a young kitten.
"You won't guess what I named my daughter," she chimed
excitedly. "Renesmeekit." A warm smile curved Downpour's
maw.[/font]

remembered one voice, Downpour? Wasn'y see at least a warrior
now huh? "Realy? Your such a doll-baby, Downki-err, Downpour!"
she purred, tilting her head licking her cheek warmly. The past
leader then sat up to her full height "I am Carmensong... I was
leader. Not for long, at least. And... yes. food would be nice.
Thank you." she mewed calmly, her milky white eyes cloudy with
thought and a bit of confusion. [/font]

leader, now." the white and grey she-cat mewed softly. "rayclaw,
get her some prey." she mewed briskly, flicking her green eyes
to her deputy momentarily.

He turned to go and get her something fresh from the pile,
knowing that they would all be coming back into camp.
