Big bwoter? wait! [open to rapidflights kits!]

Moonkit, Rapidflights daughter, along with four other kits. Now
without a mother, she managed to open her eyes, blinking away
the morning sun. The tiny black kitten showed signs of tabby
with in her - though she probably would grow out of this,
spotted her dark brown tabby brother. She got to her paws and
wobbled out towards him. At the moment he was known as 'father'
not 'brother'. Rayclaw knew he would have to take care of his
new siblings and took them in making himself the father figure.
Rayclaw noticed the small stumbling sound of paws, he turned to
see Moonkit, "Moon go back to the nest, it is too early to play"
he meowed to her, though she was too young to answer - she was
still unable to speak. She just stood there blinking up at him.

a large patchkit was following his sister, making his way out of
the nest. but he soon lost his footing and tumbled to the ground
ungracefully. scrambling up, the tom looked up at rayclaw as
well. patchkit parted his jaws as if to speak, but no words came
out. he just blinked.
[is flightlessstar allowed in this thread as their foster
mother? c:]

Rayclaw sighed as more of his brothers and sisters came out, "Go
back to the den I have work to do" he grumbled slightly annoyed.
Moonkit stood there staring at him big eyed as he spoke, not
really knowing what he was saying.

patchkit gave a wimpy pounce, trying to grab his brother's tail.
of course he had no idea what he was saying either; so he simply
let out a loud mewl and swatted at the tail.
flightlessstar purred, slipping into the den. "and what are you
two doing?" she cooed, knowing they wouldn't understand. the
leader would probably make a fantastic mother, and she already
treated this kits as her own. but she knew that when they could
understand, rayclaw would urge her to tell them the truth. but
for now she could wait. with a purr, the she-cat sat down,
flicking her tail. after robinswipe had given her those herbs,
she'd been able to produce milk for the kits so they could be
healthy and strong.

Moonkit looked at Flightlessstar before looking back at Rayclaw;
the little she-cat stubborn as ever she padded away from both
'mother' and 'father' towards the fresh killpile. Still small
and stumbling she was unable to jump on even a mouse, she just
pawed at it as if to play with it.
Rayclaw looked at his leader "Now that you're up, did you want
me to do anything special with patrols or anything today?" he
asked. Understanding that she wouldn't be able to leave camp
until the kits were older.

flightlessstar gave a wary yawn; it was killing her to not be
able to get out and outside. but it helped to know that rayclaw
was here to help her. "i would love it if you could schedule
some border and hunting patrols. but first help me wrangle up
these wriggly kits!" she giggled, slipping from the den and
running towards moonkit. she swept her head down, parting her
jaws and hoping to snatch up the kit before she could slip away
again.
patchkit, whom had followed his sister from the den, wandered
away and into the medicine den. the strong scent of herbs
flooded his mouth, making him to mewl a curious mewl. he tumbled
into the place where herbs were stored. his curiosity and
impulsiveness led him to catmint, where he pulled out the
strong-scented herb. giving out another, loud, curious mewl,
patchkit reach down to take a hearty bite. it smelled so good!
and tasted the same!

Rayclaw noticed his brother moving towards and into the medicine
cats den. The deputy bounded after him. Soon spotting him in the
cat mint, rayclaw padded up to him, reaching down to catch him
in a much less 'fun' way then flightlessstar was catching
Moonkit.
Moonkit noticed 'mother' pouncing after her, the oddly coloured
black kit tried to wriggle out of the way - but of course was
snagged by the leaders jaws.

flightlessstar smiled triumphantly and trotted towards the
nursery again, clutching moonkit firmly. she set her down in the
nest and did her best to block the entrance. "stay here, little
one." she purred gently, reaching down to lick moonkit's head
softly.
patchkit squealed as his "father's" jaws snatched him. "mmrph!"
he squealed. okay, not exactly a word, but it was a start. the
small tom kit wiggled and squirmed and swatted, but it was no
use. rayclaw was much, much bigger than him. patchkit grumbled
and went limp. he's no fun. the taste of catmint was in his
mouth still.

Ribbon kit was awake next and kind of grinned when he saw his
siblings being cared by there 'mother' and 'father'. He skipped
over to Flightlessstar or 'mom' and leaned on his leg. Somehow
he found more affection towards her, probably because he thought
his 'dad' was to strict.
