Up, up and away we go....[open to the family and 'friends']

Ivy creek looked down at her new kits. She had given birth about
1 moon ago and was now in the mountain forest with her family.
She smiled at the sight of her own kits. She was very hungry and
wanted to hunt so she walked out of the little den she had found
under an enormous elm, and headed into the deeper forest.

Marsee followed her mother out into the shimmering sunlight. her
pelt radiated with a somewhat glow. she raced ahead of her mom
smiling back as she caught the scent of another cat. being the
curious one she is, Marsee followed the scent until she had
reached the sight. in a little distance away the sun rose over
the hill into a little line so carefully, and under it was a
camp. not a clan. a tribe. the valley they were in didn't have
much tribes, so this was new.

Ivy caught up with Marsee and looked back at her path hoping
Wolf and Sarcasm had followed. She finally saw what Marsee saw
and looked down at her child. " it is dangerous. do not go out
alone with anyone. stay with me and your father and brothers and
sisters. "

[font=georgia]Mnemosyn had grown tired of lying around camp
waiting for the hunters to return with food, or the guards to
report back. It was a beautiful day, as always, in the hidden
valley. The warm breeze ran through her fluffy white fur that
coated her tiny body. Mnemosyn would look like a kitten if not
for her fur. She was perched up in a tree with large white
blossoms blooming on its branches. She laid on the thick, sturdy
branch relaxing for a while, relieving her of all of the stress
of being queen.[/font]

Valentine had scented the rogue family again. he raced towards
nemo and saw her laying in the tree. Confidently he said " they
are back. "

to the ground, landing squarely on her paws. "Let's track them,
then," hissed Mnemosyn, tasting the air. The wind blew the scent
towards her. If the Nemo followed the her nose, it might lead
her to the rogue family. Hopefully they weren't on the
move.[/font]

Sarcasm was his usual quite self as the red tabby tom-kit
followed his family. His pelt easily stood out in his
surroundings, not like he cared much about that anyway. Soon
Sarcasm caught up with his mother and sister.

[font=georgia]Mnemosyn broke into a run as the scent gradually
became stronger. Nemo's legs were short, so she had to work very
hard to run quickly. So far, she was managing just fine. The
bottoms of her paws ached; they were pink and soft, since
Mnemosyn normally didn't venture out into the valley. [/font]

jace stuck close beside her, pounding the ground softly, paws
skimming it lightly. he was quite graceful on his feet.
wolf smiled to his new kits. he would pick the strongest to take
under his wing; to train and shape into a very powerful cat. he
hid his deviousness, though. right now they were too innocent.
wolf licked his mate's cheek softly.

As Marsee headed into the den she picked up a scent behind her
and emitted a low kit like growl. She looked up at her father,
wolf, and scarcely said, " Father, the camp I saw, their scent
is getting stronger I think they might be tracking us!"
