HERB TRAINING! [open]

[continuing from where we left off on the old site. just in case
you weren't there, Stronghold is choosing a new mca or two, and
he taught the kits about marigold, cobwebs, and poppy seeds. he
is hiding and has cut his shoulder, and he wants the kittens to
find and heal him as a team.]
Stronghold finally found a place to hide behind the warrior's
den. His shoulder stung a little where he had cut it, but it
wasn't unbearable. In fact, it didn't really even hurt, it was
more of an itch. The chocolate tom flicked his tail, crouching
in the weeds behind the den. He was virtually invisible.

Victoriankit had wedged herself through the space between the
camp wall and the warrior's den, nearly dropping the poppy
seeds. She smiled as she saw the rest of the chocolate medicine
cat."Hey guys! I found him!" the kitten smiled. She wanted it to
be fair, so they could work together of course.

Mousekit followed Victoriankit, a grin on her maw. "Oh no! He
has a cut!" She meowed, her brow suddenly furrowing in worry.
The little pale blue she-kit looked around, then turned to
Victoriankit. "How about we start with marigold? I'll go get
some."
Mousekit looked among the rows of herbs, her eyes settling on
marigold. Picking a bit up, she chewed it to pulp, wincing a bit
at the weird taste. "We put it on the cut, right?" She turned to
Victoriankit, her blue eyes lit in the dimness of the Medicine
Den.[/center]

Stronghold smiled at the two, admiring them already. They were
doing quite a good job, and he would certainly consider them for
the position. "It doesn't hurt, it's just for practice." he
assured them, laughing softly and flicking his chocolate tail.
How cute, they still felt bad for him even though it was just a
test.

Islakit bounded up to where the medicine cat had been found and
sniffed his cut with a crooked frown on her pretty point colored
face. "Well, it doesn't smell infected!" she looked closely at
the wound, muttering under her breath for a heartbeak or two
before turning to the other two kits. "Oh yes! Marigold time!"
she pranced on the tips of her paws before she bounced away,
returning only when she'd found a wad of cobwebs. She brought
extra just incase they messed up a bit.

Victoriankit smiled, corners of her jaws rising. They were very
intelligent! She could see them as medicine cats themselves. She
dipped her head."Marigold and cobwebs yes," she needs to the
other kits. Glancing over Stronghold's flank, she added,"Is
there anywhere else that hurts you?" the lady like kitten
observed, knowing that they were pretending to heal a cat that
was injured in battle, which meant their could be more wounds.
Nodding to Mousekit, she mewed,"Yep!". Off the top of her mind,
she murmured,"Apply it like a poultice and then we could-" she
broke off. Wasn't cobwebs used to stop bleeding? No, maybe
not."then we can apply the cobwebs.".

[size=8pt] Before waiting for Strongholds answer, the small
kitten with a great sense of smell, began to sniff around the
brown cat her pink nose echoing little sniffle noises. "I don't
smell anything. Does it hurt really bad?" The little kit made
her way back to face the medicine cat. "You know, I'm sure my
momma could kiss it all better." she whispered to him, her
innocence apparent in her naive comments.

Stronghold snorted, chuckling a bit. "No, I'm pretty tough, I
can take it." he replied playfully to Islakit. "Now, after you
guys finish this, I will be choosing my apprentice, so do a good
job!" he reminded them, nodding his chocolate head for added
effect.

Victoriankit dipped her head in understanding, chewing the
marigold into a pulp. Spitting out the soft substance she dabbed
it with a brown paw and applied it to the medicine cat's
chocolate fur. She smiled, purring, yet still focused on the
wound,"You seem tough enough, for sure. So we can forget about
the poppy seeds, right?" she asked Stronghold like he was a
warrior, reading his eyes to find any true pain inside.
