Paintedstar managed to catch the undertone of the boulderclan
leader and held in a sigh, was it just something with she-cats
and having a mini competition that he wasn't aware of.

Desertstar's left eye twitched in irritation at the sound of
Coalstar's voice. The other female and herself had never really
been on friendly ground. Desertstar didn't trust the BoulderClan
leader and wasn't fond of her company. "It seems that the
murders have occurred close together distance wise. Murders
aren't exactly common in a time of peace, and it makes it
suspicious. We must consider the possibility of it being the
doing of a single cat. The scene of the crime in TunnelClan was
clean. The killer was careful to remove all traces of his
presence." she replied steadily, mind working a hundred miles an
hour.

"Who ever killed the tom on my land had him sitting in water,
all scents lost" Coalstar somewhat agreed with the tunnelclan
leader, she decided an effort was needed; cats where dying and
this was simply no time for them to have an argument or any type
of issue.

started off, "His sister was spared, and she found us with the
body a bit after we found it" the cream cameo tom wasn't going
to share the information of Sky, but she might know something
else, and maybe one of these two she-cats could talk to her.

Coalstar almost glared at the tom cat "And i suppose you took
this she-cat in didn't you" she meowed to him trying to hold
back a judgmental tone. 'typical of him, he can't leave anyone
out on their own; clearly shes a loner she should be alone... he
probably trusts her blindly' she thought harshly to herself.

Paintedstar only calmly looked over at Coalstar, "Yes, I did
take her in" he replied and added "To her story, the cat that
was killed was her brother and both of them had heard of us
clans and wanted to join up with mine", and it is not like I
fully trust her, there is just something about her

"She knew about the clans and was headed her and just happened
to be attacked by the murder?" she asked she did think of asking
if there was a resemblance between the tom and the apparent
she-cat but the tom could have been ripped up beyond that. She
looked away from the tom cat leader doubting him now, he could
have just let a killer in and not even question it.

"Ours was found at the bottom of the canyon. Due to the lack of
blood around her body, we decided that she had been killed and
the body dumped over the edge. The killer was discovered to
attack from the front and has a dominant left paw. If you both
still have the bodies, it would be helpful if we could examine
them. If the injuries match the style of the cat who killed the
loner on TunnelClan territory, we can deduce that we have a
serial killer on our paws." Desertstar stated, brow furrowing.
She wasn't too please at this turn of events, after all. "And
perhaps we should question this rouge you have taken in? If it
was her brother, it's extremely possible that she spotted the
killer."

Coalstar nodded disliking the fact that Paintedstar cold have
just taken in the killer and given her a home. "The tom who died
in Boulderclan has been burred but there is no harm in digging
him back up for this purpose." she meowed in agreement with
Desertstar, she had a fair point, though the two would never get
along most probably even if their lives depended on it but she
made a fair point. "Paintedstar we would like to interigate the
rogue you have taken in" she agreed directing it at the tom of
course.

"Coalstar there is always something about being at the wrong
place at the wrong time" Paintedstar simply meowed at the
boulderclan leader before looking at Desertstar once again "We
buried the body a few days ago, and I admit, I really didn't
examine the body, but it was clear that the body was dragged to
the position where we had found him" the cream cameo tom stopped
for a few moments before continuing "If you want, we could dig
up the body again, so we could examine it, unless you want to
question Sky, first?"
