LIKE, YOU'VE REALLY BEEN GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND.'
AND YOU KIND OF FREEZE
AND THEN GIVE HER AN AWKWARD
SMILE-NOD-LAUGH-NOONEKNOWSWHATTHATWAS GESTURE
AND FLOUNCE OUT OF THE ROOM
AND THEN DIE ON THE FLOOR

I've never had this happen hahah, my parents were always, "What
happened to Soandso? Why don't you ever talk to them anymore?"
and I'm just like
"dunno"
and then i fade into the abysssssss

i want to say that this has happened before
but my dad literally knows none of my friends like he knows
haley because i go to her house more often than really anyone
and then he just calls you guys by where you live
its really weird

the only time something vaguely similar to that has happened to
me
is when I was joking to a friend while we were driving her home
about how Mono and I aren't a couple even if the entire half of
the universe thinks we are
and my mom just goes "What's wrong with them? Haven't they ever
seen two girls be really close friends before?"
and that's when I came out to my mom a second time, because
apparently the first time didn't stick
she was silent for a moment and it hits me now that maybe coming
out to her while she was driving wasn't the best idea
and then the first words out of her mouth "But you and Big Katie
aren't dating, right?" (Yes my mom refers to Mono as Big Katie.
Forever. Not sure why and it's really confusing because I had
two babysitters named Katie and my bro and I called them Big
Katie and Big Katie 2 so I guess that makes Mono Big Katie 3...?
IDQueso I'm rambling)
That is my mom for you all.
