My eyes hurt
By: Red Date: May 22, 2013, 11:03 am
---------------------------------------------------------
I only got, like, two hours of sleep last night, and today was
supposed to be a normal day off for me from work but since we're
having a company party tomorrow evening, I've been asked to work
today - most of this work will be manual labor might I add. I
was trying to sleep for hours, but my room seemed waaay too
warm, or maybe just my body was really warm, because I couldn't
put even a sheet on without burning up and sweating out of my
mind.
Do you think it's the coffee I drank earlier yesterday? I drank
it really early in the morning, so that seems unlikely. Also, I
try not to drink coffee the day after I've already drunk it, or
else it might stop picking me up on days where I really need it,
but I'm going back and forth about it today. There's only one
problem though, I forgot my mug at home.
Maybe it's the coffee's fault in the first place.

Coffee has that kind of side effect on me, too.
It's being really warm and awake accompanied with more anxiety
than I usually have.
I bite my nails more, chew my cheek, get massive OCD though I
don't have it otherwise, and other misc. things.
if I drink two cups of coffee I can have these side effects for
like, three days. They get gradually less bothersome, which is
good, but its still really annoying.
It also has to do with stress I have over incomplete things or
when I've spent too much time alone or with my family.

That really sucks! The first effect I get from drinking coffee
is normally sweating out of my mind all day. It doesn't help
that I've had a notorious BO problem, and anyone I've grappled
with in Martial Arts knows it, but it's clearing up as I'm
getting older, which is reassuring. Also, the sweating probably
doesn't help my acne out either.
Also, even having a tiny bit at the very tip of the morning can
keep me up until like 11. It really bugs me, but I guess I'd
rather it do its work of waking me up rather than not doing
anything at all, and that's not to mention that I usually crash
between 2 and 4 anyhow, and then suddnly can't go back to sleep
when I need to.

Im sorry you have to go through that, man. :c I go through
something similar, so I understand.
I get the feeling I'm sweating, when I'm not, but then once I
realize I might be sweating I think that I sweat more, which I
don't. And I kind of freak out a little but I forget to tell
people, especially my family, so I can get snappy. And that's
why I don't drink coffee often, though I enjoy it a lot.
I can sleep after I've had it, I just can't sleep later on in
the day, which is weird. I don't get the OCD and ticks when I'm
at school or doing things but if I'm at home doing nothing, its
not a fun time.
I used to drink a lot of coffee out in NY with my mom because
she always bought iced coffee, but I had paranoia and I saw
stuff and it was just generally horrible. I could not sleep at
night. (Though that might also be due to how frickin weird it is
out there.)
