Heyheyheyhey, why am I not involved in this even though it was
       my idea. /butthurt
I didn't realize we were throwing out things that HAD to be in
the roleplay - I was just tossing out suggestions and stuff that
might be good starting points or ways to ad to the mix. They
weren't stand alone, or solid. [s]So you didn't need to shoot
them down so cruelly. /still butthurt[/s]

       Ah ah :v :U
We shot you down? Wait, but I loved your ideas(sorry about the
joke aaa I knew that wasn't going to work over the Internet ; 0
;). I thought it was like, futuristic city that was still
fantasy which was what I am kind of aiming for. I was just
saying that once we have a solid setting (like true futuristic
or fantasy futuristic) that we build upon it. There can be
different eras we reference to throughout the roleplay(an idea I
was going to save but just throwing it out there now), so the
idea of a nuclear war/city or a utopia/cyberpunk or "No
touching, underground society" thing can still be included
through our characters and their upbringings. The way their
families raised them or the discrimination of a certain
race/age/gender can be portrayed through the interactions of our
       characters. c:
I dot know if that was your pain, but sorry about not including
       you! D: asdfrkdhke

       OKAY SO LIKE MOVING ON
I second the motion of combining sci fi of some sort and fantasy
because ALL OF THE YES and ALL OF THE POSSIBILITIES and just ALL
       OF THE _____.
But I guess it all depends on what we want the main /plot
       motivator/ to be, and stuff...
Also I really like the idea of touch being illegal, and being
sold underground, but I feel like that could get really
       awkwardly sexual really fast... xD

Am I the only one who's not at all interested in this idea?
It just.... I don't know, it just doesn't sit well with me,
partially for Mono's reason, partially because I need my
Bro-hugs/bro-fists/cuddles/physical signs of affection. And I
honestly do not know how that could work in a society.

So, I'm not the only one who thought this.
Also, for how it would be incorporated is that you can challenge
people to a duel, this could be with any of your skills(sword
fighting, fist fighting, fighting general), but only if it is
monitored by an official or otherwise classified personnel(those
with a medical degree, served their country, etc.). Touching in
any other time than a duel is completely illegal.
We could even throw in a Hunger Games thing like, you can't
train and that's also why people would pirate touch. Then comes
       human trafficking and the like.

But this could al be in the past because Utopias can crumble too
       :v
And ppl could still believe in it
So more underground stuff because parts of land are still under
       law

You two dislike it for the opposite reasons, get it worked out
       hahaha.
@Captain - The point is that it still happens, it's just
underground. Also, have you ever read Dinotopia? Regardless, if
people are fighting, they're presumably fighting to
kill/hurt/maim/pass defenses. Killing could be legal. Maybe the
only type of touch that's legal is violent touch, while any
other physical affection shown between characters that are not a
mother and her offspring under the age of 10 is prohibited, and
       punishable by <insert punishment here>.
       @tree - It doesn't have to get sexual [sub]but c'mon, look who's
here.[/sub] Awkward's supposed to equal fun. I hope. It was a
       thought hahaha.
EDIT: Also take into consideration that there can be different
cultures. One culture may recognize that human contact is a
great thing, and there's plenty of it to go around and there is
various merrymaking to surround it, while another may scoff and
be repulsed at the idea, although it still happens under the
       radar usually.

I'm amazed by us, though. In all seriousness.
We've already made a completely different world from our own.
       Congrats, guys. o v o
