So I'm liking the majority of it other than the time travel bits
and virtual reality-- although I wouldn't be opposed to a
virtual reality similar to that of Summer Wars, where you've got
your user and then your avatar who work on separate grids.
Also, for the legal fighting/killing, I feel like there'd have
to be rules in place even for that, and wouldn't that take away
some of the fun of running from the authorities~? If it were
legal, setting up duels could be interesting too.....
       hmmmm.......
Also, if we're throwing in gods/god-like-beings can we have holy
warriors and/or champions of the gods too?
also we forgot the most important one:
       - Pirates

       That's actually really cool.
Like, almost Ayn Rand, that would be awesome
So, do we want it futuristic or fantasy?
That's always te hardest thing to decide on ; v ; cause its
super hard to have both, thats why dwarves are so cool
Steampunk is great, but sometimes I feel like there's so much
steampunk and not a lot of other cool stuff(but that's just
cause its popular right now, I bet).
Should it be past or future? ( Just saying it could be cool to
have it in the future, but have that bit blurred out- ie, its
fantasy but its only a version of fantasy because the creatures
or variants of human an be explained by science.)
Also, monsters are cool, and mutations.
Should we put up a quick poll? :v about the questions, I mean

First off: with all the ideas we've been throwing around, I'd
say a fantasy world defo. This way, we can just make it so that
the rules of that world fit whatever we need to happen; I'm
leaning towards futuristic tech myself, but in a fantasy
setting. And we can do Cyberpunk instead of Steampunk, or some
odd mix of the two. :D
       Also:
How could we have a society where touching is illegal and yet
       fighting is legal
I also am confused on how the illegal touching would work it
makes no sense to me, but that's probably because I am a
cuddler. :I But honestly you bump into people every day.

I actually enjoy steampunk more than cyberpunk when it comes to
fantasy stories because then its just so much more realistic.
Cyberpunk is really gritty and can be overbearing but steampunk
is a little bit lighter and less psycological (thankfully), you
don't get so many steampunk stories where human flesh or organs
are used to maintain the flow of energy in a body like cyberpunk
does. Because the human body lives off of electrical pulses,
cyberpunk is based more like a horror genera than a cool or
flowing plot point. If we do decide on fantasy without a
scientific or nuclear twist, that's not including time travel(it
makes me dissy), then steampunk is a lot more satisfying.
Hahaha xD one of those things will have to go, I bet.
I'll set up a poll really fast to determine the
fantasy/realistic genera really fast and then we can go off of
       that.
I, for one, am actually leaning toward the fantasy. We can
always do side stories if time travel and nuclear stuff is
       involved.
So, to sum up my thoughts, I think the way to incorporate
everyone's thoughts would be a fantasy and future setting.

After everyone has voted, I will take this one down and
       introduce the less complicated one.
If there are any changes/things you would add to the poll,
please feel free to say so!
       -ah, poll*
