This next place holds a special place in my heart, i grew up
there and it is well worth the visit.
The United States Virgin Islands are United States territories
and has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, all of
which are available to the public. The USVI are made up of four
islands, St. Thomas: the main island out of the four St. Thomas
has the largest population, this is also where the government is
located. St. John: St. John is the second smallest island and is
mostly nature preserve, it has many camp sites and hiking paths,
St. John also has many ruins of what used to be sugar
plantations. there are also remnants of the original peoples to
live there the Arawak Indians in the form of petroglyphs. St.
Croix: The largest island of the four, St. Croix has a small
population. St. Croix is about 60 miles away from the other
islands and is considered the eastern most part of the US. St.
Croix used to house one of the larges oil refineries in the
world, however last year it was closed leaving many with out
jobs. St. Croix is also where Cruzan rum is made. Water Island:
Water Island is the smallest of the four islands, it sits in the
main harbor of St. Thomas and used to be connected to St. Thomas
by a strip of land but the Danish blew that up to improve the
water flow through the harbor and so that garbage wouldn't
collect. Very few people live there and the island is so small
that most get around by golf cart.
Now for the pictures,

The petroglyphs on St. John,
you have to take quite the hike to get to these you start at the
top of a mountain in the morning and you get to the petroglyphs
around lunch,
you then continue down the mountain and get to a beach with the
ruins of a sugar mill that is filled with sleeping fruit bats.
there's just enough time to explore, have a dip in the ocean and
have a snack before a boat picks you up and takes you back to
the ferry to go back to St. Thomas. I've done the hike 6 times i
think. It never gets old.

I've never been to St. Croix but apparently this is it

and last but not least the Water Island 4th of July Parade
HTML http://www.waterislandwica.com/files/2009News/7:4:08%201.jpg
that was long, i could go on but i think i'll refrain. If anyone
wants to know more about the USVI i'm always happy to talk about
it.

I, personally, want to go to Hokkaido, Japan!

In particular because of the marimo matsuri - the festival in
celebration of marimo! It's held near Lake Akan annually, which
is one of the only lakes (if not the only one) that has the
right conditions to grow marimo!
Marimo are these little guys:

It's really interesting, because they're essentially balls of
moss, but they take nearly a century to grow just one cm in
diameter! Crazy stuff, right? But check out the amazing festival
held in their honor:

Oh, and here's a picture of lake Akan:

I'd like to go to The Black Forest, located in
Baden-Württemberg, southwestern Germany.

Okay, at first I wasn't really interested in it, but then I
looked at the cool things you can see there:
- There are a bunch of rivers (The one below is the Brigach
river)

-There are clOCKMAKERS. (Also other stuff, but cLOCKMAKERS
THO--)

-Its just super beautiful in general and seriously looks like it
was made just for nature-lovers.

- There are also a bunch of little historical towns like
Freiberg, Calw (below).

Now, because I am lazy, I will just leave you with the Wikipedia
