Last nights Lizzie Borden episode was interesting and quite sad
Amy read that there were two women in a incest relationship who
both had previously been molested by their father. Thats the sad
part. The interesting part is that somewhere I had read an
article a long time ago that the defense had speculated there
was abuse from the father but it was swept under the rug because
Mr Borden was a prolific business man in the community and had a
sizeable inheritence that the state or county (cant remember)
was hoping to get their hands on. I had always wondered why
this aspect wasnt pursued further especially since such a
violent crime usually points to a darker behind the scenes issue
like family abuse. The other part of the story is that the
oldest sister was the sole inheriter of the estate, however she
gave half to her sister and also paid for Lizzie's defense (25k)
out of her own inheritence. They stated this was basically to
keep Lizzie hushed about the abuse between the two sisters.
I really like The Dead Files. There is an entertsinment factor
to it when Amy does her read, but it is very interesting when
they do their reveal and the detective and Amy's evidence
supports each other, that to me is the best part because they
are usually dead on with each other.

My wife has told me in the past that she heard the dad was a
real SOB

I just watched the show today since I was away camping. You are
right, Crystal, it was sad to learn about the reason for the
murders. The show is very interesting and is one of my
favorites. I think Amy is awesome.

LOOOOVE this show! Amy cracks me up, then amazes me every time
when she and Steve do the reveal. Awesome stuff!
