Food!

(I thought I posted this last night, but guess not. My apologies
if this ends up being a duplicate.)
We plan to eat at one nice sit-down place per day. Most likely
lunch. We'll eat our own food for breakfast.
There are 3 places we would like to eat:
Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley (US)
Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade (IOA)
Cowfish (CityWalk)

This place has something for everyone. Sushi, burgers, and a
fusion of both if you like. They also have a good kids' menu, so
it's certainly something we'd like to try.
Any must-eats on your list?

For now, no specific date is announced. It only says, "opening
later this year." We can always hope!

Be still my heart! Looks great! It sure looks like it's ready to
open. It will take a lot of willpower on my part to not go crazy
in there! ;D

The Emporium is open! It opened Monday the 22nd. It will be only
15 days old when we get there!

We have planned meals for the week. Mostly breakfasts and
dinners. Feel free to join us any night as we will have plenty:
Tuesday: bagels/cream cheese and chicken salad sandwiches
Wednesday: cereal and chicken/pasta/veggie dish
Thursday: bacon/turkey sausage/egg english muffins and bbq
pulled pork/beans/salad
Friday: pancakes/whatever meat is left and chicken/rice/veggie
dish
Yesterday, I got an electric skillet for $3! It's usually at
least $40-50, so I scored! Sweet lady who moved into an
independent living apartment, so she's ridding of a lot of her
superfluous kitchen gear. I'll use the skillet to cook bacon,
eggs, pancakes, and the frozen skillet meals we will buy.
We will also have stuff to make PBJ sandwiches at any time as
well as mac n cheese
One meal each of those days will be Three Broomsticks, Leaky
Cauldron, CowFish, Toothsome Chocolate factory.
The parks close at 7pm while we are there, so that will be a
decent time to go back to our hotel, make some dinner, and
swim/relax.
This time next week, we hope to have our bags 98% packed and we
will pack the SUV when the sun starts to set. That way, we will
be able to zoom whenever we feel like it early Sunday.

As for Nana and Pappy's shopping list, post it here so I can
keep it in one place.
Nana has asked for Luna Bars: chocolate peppermint stick,
chocolate-dipped coconut, s'more, and dark chocolate coconut.
We will get mosquito spray, but it also looks like it will be
readily available at Universal. I'll look into it more.

Pappy, just let me know what else you all might want/need for
your week at Universal. I plan to stop at Trader Joe's and
Publix, so can get any HBA items as well as food.

I'll take Clif bars: two chocolate chip and two cool mint
chocolate. If they don't have them, anything else will do fine.
I'll send Ken money for these and to help y'all with food in
general.
