Universal Studios Florida

This is the home of WWoHP's new Diagon Alley with Gringotts!
It's also the best park to visit if rains last longer than 30-60
minutes. Most of these rides/attractions are indoors.
Here is our "must see" list:
- Gringotts bank and ride. The boys can do this one! Mom, you
can watch the ride video on YouTube to decide if you want to
join us. It's set up someone like Forbidden Journey, but will
feel like a legit coaster The bank alone is worth visiting,
though, regardless!
- Leaky Cauldron. Eating here for sure, right?! There is also an
ice cream shop that might be worth visiting.
- Every shop in Diagon Alley
- Station 9 3/4 (even though I know you guys have seen the real
place!)
- Despicable Me (motion ride in front of a screen)
- Transformers (like Spiderman. Moving ride with 3D video.)
- Men in Black (slow-moving ride where you shoot lasers at
aliens. The boys will LOVE it!)
- Rip Ride Rockit (olders only)
- Animal Actors show. I think the boys would enjoy it. I
remember it being super cute! Interpreted at 3:30 daily.
- Cinematic Spectacular (looks neat...lasers, old movie clips,
and some fireworks.)
- Superstar parade (the boys will like seeing Hop, Spongebob,
and Despicable Me....Dora, not so much)
Maybes
- Termintor 2 (3D show. Good if raining, but only shows a couple
of times per day)
- Shrek 4D (another movie...not high-priority for us, but we'd
go if circumstances presented themselves.)
- The Simpson's Ride (you can only do so many of these types of
rides and this one doesn't top our list)
What about youse guys?

My inner ears don't take to extreme motion rides like they used
to! I no longer do upside-down well. Things like Forbidden
Journey are fine with me. Not too intense.
Your list looks great. We're not particular. We're not going for
the rides, per se. We're going to enjoy watching the grands
enjoy the parks.

We just bought our tickets!!! ;D We got the park hoppers. I
filled out a survey after and hope I win the $200 drawing for my
effort. :)
Yippee!! I got called out to work, but when I get home, we'll go
ahead and pay for our hotel room as well. Get it out of the way.
Yippee again!!!

Just learned this is going on starting Friday the 9th (you leave
that day anyway, right?)
HTML https://www.universalorlando.com/Events/Rock-The-Universe/Entertainment-And-Rides.aspx
At first, I was excited because I thought the kids could go to
the concert for no extra cost, but of course it costs money. :)
They love Skillet, but we've seen them before. Anyway, the park
will close at 4pm Friday night to anyone not holding tickets to
Rock the Universe, so this will be a night to park hop over to
IOA OR just hang out at the hotel and do laundry. Likely the
crowds will be great at IOA since only concert-goers will have
access to UO. Good to know in advance!

We fly out at 1:40; so we will need to leave the resort by 10:30
or so, I'm guessing.

For early morning, either park should be good and we can enter
early and milk as much as possible out of the day. I plan to let
the teens either stay in the park or come to the hotel to swim
for the afternoon while I do laundry and pack up for the cruise.
We'll be at Universal in 29
days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
