So yeah, even though I might or might not have come here just to
vent, curse, tell some funny jokes, and argue in the debate
board, I figured I may as well contribute some original content.
So, here's my guns I'm working on. The idea behind them is that
the manufacturers make the parts, and others put the guns
together. This is very similar to the Borderlands series in that
sense. Eventually, I plan to add shotguns, sniper rifles,
sub-machine guns, and rocket launchers plus various tacticool
accessories. The end result should be a pretty big selection of
guns to build.
Now, a look at each manufacturer.
Plotnikov guns hold all the rounds a person needs to carry in
several magazines mounted on a rotating carousel. Whenever a mag
runs dry, the gun automatically rotates the carousel and thus
loading a fresh magazine. This effectively eliminates reloading
at the cost of the gun being heavy and awkward to hold. These
shortcomings can be partially remedied by using powered
exoskeletons to augment the user's strength.
BM (Black Mountain) guns all feature incendiary bullets that
light absolutely anything on fire, including water. The only
thing that puts out the fire is urine. Be sure to go into battle
on a full bladder when you're fighting guys armed with BMs! Too
bad these guns have a really, really low rate of fire.
Beam guns run on four AA batteries and fires a particle beam
capable of melting through depleted uranium, diamond, and faces.
Has to reload after every shot, but totally worth it.
SmartProj weapons use homing bullets. Fire away from the enemy
for EXTREME TROLLING. However, these bullets are guided by
tracer darts that must be fired at a hostile before one is able
to point his gun anywhere and still hit the guy. God help you if
you miss the first shot.
Oh yes, and the white-grey parts of the guns are for coloring.
Or, you know, you could get really savvy with it and just color
the gun in its entirety.
