       DUST Design Center

       Hello all,
You may have seen this on JG if you have been on recently, but
interest in this seems to disappeared. Maybe it will pick back
       up again here(?)
Anyway, welcome to the world of DUST
The year is 1947. The war that started a decade ago has now
spread worldwide. The discovery of a crashed alien spacecraft in
the Antarctic has led to the development of revolutionary combat
walkers that surpass the most advanced tank technology. Old
alliances have fragmented and new ones arisen as three major
blocs, the Allies, the Axis and the Sino-Soviet Union (SSU)
fight the world over for VK, a valuable new resource that power
       their new fighting machines.
This new world of combat has brought technological advances to
the battlefield that no man has ever contrived before. These
have been modeled extremely well by DUST Studios and Battlefront
Miniatures. I do not own any of these, but it really had caught
my attention. The DUST universe also allows room for
interpretation of units, as it would only make sense that the
armies of the world gradually add and upgrade their forces,
leaving some older equipment still in use. These are known as
"Dustifications", and the guys over at Dust Australis have done
a great job doing making these units.

I will try my best to make
new and more challenging units in the future, but currently I
will display what I have made, and a few pieces that others have
made on JG already. I hope this gets new people to contribute!
I'll start with some US Marines. I plan to make some more of
these in the near future. These Marines are from the 4th Marine
Division, currently fighting in Operation Babylon.

Next up are some Rangers, the backbone of ASOCOM (Allied Special
Operations Command) These Rangers are in Zverograd.

       what started it all

Hear are some Dustifications inspired by Dust Australis. For the
British walker they didn't give it a name, so I made my own.

This is a squad of British soldiers. Although there isn't an
actual set for them, I am fairly sure they can be used with the
       rest of the DUST universe.

Finally a WiP, a P-48 Pelican. If anybody wants to take a stab
at it, you are more than welcome to.
Thanks to Jeff High (JG) for his P-38

Stumbled upon this and I thought it was pretty neat. Inspired by
the picture below. Once again, I filled in the fluff.

Very nice, dem walkers be seeeeeeeeeexy. I feel this might be
better if we had our choice of making custom nations, or just
make a new world all together, ya dig?

Well the world of DUST is FILLED with different kinds of
walkers. Each faction, the Allies, Axis, and SSU all have their
own walkers, and you can make your own "Dustifications" as well.
The guys over at Dust Australis made an entire Japanese army,
that isn’t produced by DUST Studios. So although there are
limits, there is a lot of wiggle room to design new things. Here
are some platoons displaying several infantry teams and walkers
       of each factions.

Do you think anyone can help me tackle this armor? It would
really help me out very much, ALOT of other teams and squads use
       this armor
       Thanks

Okay, here is a captured Pounder, used by the NDAK. DUST and
Battlefront Studios have made rules for captured vehicles, they
encourage some imaginative work. I found this article
  HTML http://www.dust-tactics.com/Home/tabid/56/entryid/237/Default.aspx<br
/>which takes a Pounder with the Caunter camouflage scheme and
converts it to a NDAK walker. The cross on the turret was meant
to cover up the Allied star. Hope you guys like it.

Finally, here are some armored infantry! These are the USMC
Heavy Engineer Squad, known as the Steel Marines. These Marines
are equipped with the latest Allied battle armor, and are armed
with heavy flamethrowers a M10 Bazooka, and a frickin VK power
drill! HUGE thanks to ComradeSoldat who made the basis of the
armor. I made the necessary modifications and also created the
weapons from scratch. You guys are more than welcome to comment
or try your hand at this as well
