New RP idea

I have heard the calls for a new RP
I played a little of "The Last of Us" and I have to say I like
it, so I had the idea of loosely basing an RP around it.
it's still in the "drawing Board" stages, however it's not going
to be a Nation building game it will be an RP like "Uneasy
Alliance" you create a character (2 if you prefer) and you play
out their life in a Zombie Apocalypse world, meet up with others
and RP together if you like
I'm always willing to answer questions and to take suggestions
Let me know what you guys think

so I'm thinking set it 20 years after the out break all those
that knew how it happened are dead or turned only a handful
survived the last 20 years
if you want to make your characters younger you can because it
seems reasonable to assume that people would not stop having
kids just because the zombie apocalypse has come
this game will not be set in a single city. It will be set in
America however (just cause why not?) but you can have your
characters in any city of your choosing and travel between
cities, meet up with other people's characters
you get the idea

yes please, I usually have that as a must anyway, nothing fancy
just so we know a little about him/her
I'm not excluding military characters either since this is 20
years after the outbreak ammunition will be pretty hard to find
(unless you make your own) so try not to be a "spray and pray"

good, then I shall start production on the character sheets
tomorrow. Just basic information name, gender, background,
skills you get the idea

Age:
Equipment: basic things e.g. back pack, rope, sidearm (as stated
earlier bullets will be scarce unless you're making your own),
knife and first aid kit. Just an example
Skills: things your character has to help him/her survive e.g
hunting, skinning, cooking, bullet casting, scrap salvage (you
get the idea)
Background:
Appearance: just a pic, drawing or description of your character
