Laghairt Dearg

After sleeping for over 2,000 years an Elven Wizard called
Thorex comes across the old legend of Laghairt Dearg (Red
Dragon) he located the mountain easy enough, once he climbed to
the opening he went inside.
Once all light faded he lit a torch and was amazed at the amount
of gold and precious gems all piled up. Thorex had no idea if
the Dragon was in there or not but the prospect of being able to
command the legendary Laghairt Dearg was a chance he was not
going to pass up.
Thorex began the incantation to bind the dragon to his will, but
he was not strong enough, not practiced enough his incantation
did nothing but wake Laghairt Dearg up.
The mound of gold and gems shook and collapsed as the mighty
Dragon rose from the pile and roared so loud it shook Thorex to
his very bones. As Thorex looked up at the Dragon he'd searched
for he realized to late that the legend had been buried for a
reason.
Laghairt Dearg looked down and saw this pathetic Elf terrified
his mouth opened and the inside began to glow quickly followed
by flame hot enough to melt iron, after a few second the dragon
closed his mouth, Thorex had been reduced to ash.
Laghairt Dearg was once again awake a mighty creature as old as
time it's self. He walked towards the entrance to his cave and
looked out. How the world had chance in the time he'd been
asleep but he was hungry and there was a village at the bottom
of the mountain that was not there before and would not be there
for much longer...
