WIP: please stand by. Will be finished within a few days.
       Hopefully. FEEL FREE TO POST.
       Nation - Torrocca
       Government - Socialism
       Economy - Social Market Capitalism
       -------------
       Leader - Boris Vetrov
       Leader Trait - Warrior
Leader Background - Boris Vetrov was born into a poor family of
farmers, yet he had no knowledge of this. His mother had been
killed a year into his life, his father disappeared, and he was
kidnapped with his brothers and sister and seperated from his
brothers. He grew up as the adopted son of the old dictator
himself, Aleksandr Gromov, the same man whom he'd later kill in
his later life as a general. As the years progressed, the
dictator himself trained Boris the way of the sword and how to
use a rifle, and by the age of 16, he was a master at
swordfighting and shooting. However, it was also around this
time that his sister ran away, escaping to one of the northern
island territories of Torrocca. Around the age of 24, in 1946,
during a revolution to the east, Boris went on a expedition to
find the remnants of his family. He discovered his father to be
dead in a tomb, his two brothers to be on either side in the
war, one of whom was hospitalized due to severe injuries from
mortar shrapnel and poisoned from a gas attack, and had
succumbed to the poison only days later. he discovered his
sister to be safe and sound, and told her to remain where she
was, so as to avoid being harmed. On his 26th birthday, while he
was on his way home, he'd received news that the dictator had
ordered an attack on three villages, one of which was his home
village, and that the people were slaughtered.
Furious, he rushed home on horseback, cursing his "father" as he
rallied troops before him. By the time he had reached the
capital, he had gathered up a brigade of soldiers, some on
horseback, but most on foot, yet all determined to take down
their "beloved" leader. General Vetrov gave the word to only
kill those who still showed loyalty to Aleksandr, and he himself
charged for the capital building, backed by four officers. They
rode through the night, intent on destroying the rule of
Aleksandr once and for all. They breached the gates, pretending
to be needed by the dictator right away. All five ran into the
building, the four officers staying behind to take down any and
all guards who'd realized they were there for Aleksandr's blood,
while Boris himself ran up to the top floor to take out the
dictator. Aleksandr had already known of Boris' betrayal and was
prepared once he entered, however, before he could do anything,
he was shot through the throat, the cheek and his left arm in
three shots, and was simply dead before he could even shoot the
man he'd raised as a child. Still in a rage, Boris leaped over
the desk, pulled a lighter from his "father's" corpse, cut his
head off, lit the room on fire, ran to the roof, and proudly
shouted his and his family's name aloud as he held Aleksandr's
head high in the air, before leaping from the roof into the
river below. He later went on to lead the revolutionaries
against the remnants of Aleksandr's supporters, though most
simply surrendered without a fight, due to the fact that Boris
had most of the nation under his new rule at this point, and it
was better to be under him than to be an enemy of him by that
       time.

Nation Background - Torrocca had not officially become a country
until a revolution in 903 A.D., which led to the downfall of the
empire in rule, the deaths of the tzar and his family, and the
reestablishment of a new dictatorship ran by the Gromov family,
which ruled from 904 to 1949, when Boris Vetrov took power and
established a more democratic rule. Along the way, the nation
had faced two national famines, three wars, many revolutions,
about 5 assassinations, two sanctions, and one lost territory
after a long-fought war. However, Boris Vetrov's rise to power
had led to stability within the nation, booming industries,
better communication with neighbors, and of course much better
security. Other than that, not much is known of the history of
Torrocca, as the national archives had burned down in 1709,
leaving many blanks in national history.
       -------------
Goals - LT: More peace and trading between nations
       ST: 1. Improved military
       2. Improved technology
       3. Expanded territories
Exports - Oil, Iron, Plastic, Food, Rubber
Imports - Wood, Steel, Electronics, Gold, Sulfur, Wheat, Leather

to find him. The suspect they believe left the prison is by the
name of Glazkov Tokarev inmate #394. How will your government
find this criminal and handle it once he is cought?

Week #2: a military vessel patrolling unclaimed waters miles
from Torrocca has recently sank, with all hands missing.
Searches have been conducted in a 500 mile radius around the
last known location of the vessel, but no survivors have been
found yet. A request for support in finding these men and
getting them home to their families has been made, and the
Emperor Vetrov would be willing to provide support for whatever
       nation is willing to assist.

Nyekundu would be more than willing to help but our forces are
three days out from the area. A task force stationed at
Freedonia can be en route immediately. Please notify us if you
       would still like assistance.

A message from the emperor himself, sent to the leader of
Nyekundu, stated that the help would be greatly appreciated, and
that it'd help greatly in finding the lost men.

       Event Week: Two
An underground Temple has recently been uncovered by 2
Archaeologists. Inside they found statues, furniture and even a
sarcophagus made out of gold, the walls are covered in an
ancient writing long forgotten by time
The rough estimation of the value of all that gold is is roughly
$2,500,000,000 on today's market (yes as in 1950s market)
The Archaeologists have come to you begging the Temple be made
into a museum so everyone can study the Ancient language of your
people and see the superb craftsmanship of the statues,
       furniture and sarcophagus
But on the other hand there is no doubt that all that gold will
be a substantial boot to your economy
Whatever you decide please do so quickly before the general
population hears about it's discovery and the looting of the
Ancient Temple starts on a mass scale

The Torroccan government has decided to take most of the gold,
save for ten pieces, to use for a boost in the economy, and will
use some of this newfound money to fund the museum project.
