The Republic of Que Hung votes yes to 01/08 and recognizes East
Chetamul as a sovereign nation. Furthermore the RQH puts forth
that Moriskov is a failed nation unwarranting of recognition as
a sovereign nation until such time as a government capable of
supporting human rights is freely elected.

Resolution 01/07 has passed. With voting continuing on the
acceptance of 01/08 but a majority of the nations appear to
approve of East Chetamul joining.

RESOLUTION 01/09
Title: Disapproval Act
Intent: To not recognize the claims and actions of the SRM
Operative Clause:
The Socialist Republic of Moriskov will no longer be
recognized as a sovereign state until a government can be
brought about that is for the people and does not practice the
inhumane treatment of political prisoners and civilians.

The Confederate Republic of Criteria's Iron Alliance observant
would like to point out that this proposal 1/09 is a malicious
act which is intended to be dilatory to the success of the
Socialist Republic of Moriskov's progress as a nation and is
therefore impeding on the civil rights of a nation to rule it's
own people.
On behalf on the Socialist Republic of Moriskov we would like to
stand with them in this time in asking you to withdraw this
proposal as a direct attack on the sovereignty of a
long-standing nation.

Nyekundu asks to make an addition to the current black list,
that all member nations of the Power 30-70 anti-freedom alliance
be blacklisted and embargoed until they have left the
organization.

The Confederate Republic of Criteria's Iron Alliance observant
would like to point out that this proposal to add all joining
member parties who have the free right to make their choice on
alliances is a direct attack on the sovereignty of all member
nations of the Power 30 and the Seventy alliance. This walks
upon the right of each nation to make their rightful choice to
any organization they would like to be a part of and is a bad
representation of an organization which wishes to be "in favor"
of freedom.
Please withdraw this utterly spiteful clause which is in it's
essence malicious and of ill-intent.

The Freedonian representative, Larten Kuther-Ming stands and
looks around the hall at the Criterian delegate who has barged
his way into the hall under diplomatic escort.
He rants for several moments after which the Freedonian looks at
him with a glint of disgust.
"I would remind the nation of Criteria that they are not formal
members of this organization, so they are not recognized."
She coughs and adds, "But we do have forms in the Lobby if you
wish to apply for membership. I personally will expedite the
process pending your willingness to make reparations for civil
rights abuses."
As the Criterian delegate is escorted out, she adds, "And just
for your elucidation, we could not possibly be 'impeding on the
civil rights of a nation to rule it's own people' because by
definition, civil rights belonging to an individual by virtue of
citizenship. What you are being denied by our motion are the
official acknowledgment of your legitimacy as a nation
representative of your people's interests. If you wish to offer
drudges the right to vote, I will be happy to withdraw my
support for this resolution, which because of your outburst I am
compelled to support."
