In the chambers of the Iron Alliance Minister Din Cheng Zhou
stood up "our nation wants to bring attention to the horrible
conditions and resulting riots of the people in Moriskov and the
ongoing executions of its people for unjust reasons.
In Criteria open slavery is carried out, in this age, this is
unjustifiable!
We have a responsibility to all people, to ensure freedom and
their best chance at a reasonable life. We should make a
political overture and then follow that with stronger action!"
The minister sat down.

Representative Larten Kuther-Ming stands from her seat, visibly
moved by the words of the Que Huong delegate.
"I have seen the distressing reports from Criteria's slave
markets, and I too am appalled. As a child of a Huongian Father
and 'Kundian mother, I share blood with many of those who stand
chained for hours awaiting delivery to a life of servitude and
abuse."
She pauses and looks across the council with stern eyes.
"Each of you has a stake in our future. And as long as such
things take place, we are not upholding our pledge to freedom
for the coming generations."
She scans the crowd again making sure to meet each set of
eyes.
"What has our forbearance of nations which perpetuate such open
disregard for humanity done for us?
It has made them like bold thieves. They strike our shipments
in the dark. They wage war against the weak and defenseless.
They try to upset the stability of sovereign lands."
She takes a drink and continues.
"We must advise our member nations to take action, if not with
force, at least with the hand of humanity."
"If we can liberate those who are imprisoned, even if it means
subjecting ourselves to purchasing those who are sold like so
much rice, then I say do it. Those who have tasted the yoke
will make the best advocates of freedom, and make fine allies
against those who denied them that intrinsic right."
She sits and awaits further comment.

PROPOSED RESOLUTION 01/06
Title: Operation Anaconda
Intent: To hinder the abilities of Moriskov and Criteria from
being able to oppress or profit from oppression
Operative Clause:
Two naval task forces will be formed from member nations
navies. Task Force Freedom will be used to blockade Criteria and
inspecting all imports allowing no exports and only IA approved
food shipments and necessities. Task Force Humanitarian will be
used to blockade the Socialist Republic of Moriskov and
inspecting all imports allowing no exports and only IA approved
food shipments and necessities. Upon approval of this resolution
a draft ORBAT for two IA Task Forces will be built from all
nations naval forces available for use in this operation. The
Task Force Fleet Admirals will be one from the RQH and one from
Talamh Baile. I propose an immediate call to arms to all member
nations to raise their level of military alert.

Representative Larten Kuther-Ming makes some hasty notes and
clears her desk.
"While I have no personal issue with the most recent proposal, I
must confer with the military authority to see if I can get
approval for the distribution of naval assets for this blockade.
I will say, however, without a firm vote from the Allied States
it will be difficult to achieve. Such an act would invariably
place them in a position of jeopardy were they not prepared for
the consequences."
She takes the Nyekundu ambassador aside and confers to him in
private.
At the close, both people smile cordially, but there is no
official record of their conversation.

Representative Fitz Molochlin had remained silent throughout the
entire meeting but finally stood up to speak, "I would like to
request that Talamh Bailé blockade Moriskov, our Carrier the
Eitleán is already there along with her entire Strike force. She
can be joined very soon by the Scriosadh and few other squadrons
of our fleet.
Fitz stood motionless waiting for a reply his face emotionless
hiding the anxiety underneath.

"We second this. With a battleship and carrier already in place
we should allow Task Force Humanitarian to be operated by Talamh
Baile. Any other members with vessels will join if capable
creating Joint Task Forces. The four Nyekundu destroyers in
Freedonia, what ever the Freedonian fleet can spare, whatever
Talamh Baile can spare, and the RQH should make up the fleet
blockading Criteria. To cover such large areas we must used a
Joint Task Force which means a combined arms, multi-national
operation. This is our first test my dear friends, through fire
and ice we will set in stone and make our impression on this
world of where we stand." Representative Mrs. Abri Boipelo sat
back down.
While the General Assembly is working on the resolution the
Security Council was already meeting and drafting the operation.
The top secret meeting was heavily guarded and secured. The
windowless room was warm while the generals and officers looked
through stacks of reports on the member nations naval
capabilities. The Nyekundu Admiral took a long, hard drag on his
cigarette before speaking.
"I'm sorry Nyekundu can only supply so little. Our navy program
as you are well aware is in development. What is the delivery
time on those Missile Cruisers?"

Fitz took a picture from the folder of his desk and asked for it
to be passed to the Nyekundu Admiral

"This is the Prototype Admiral, we need your approval before we
mass produce them for you, I sent several of the same picture to
your office but you never replied so I decided to bring this
here in person. If this meets your approval Admiral we'll start
full scale production as soon as I get back to Talamh Bailé."
Fitz sat back down however he was slightly worried, when the
Admiral saw the prototype he was surprised which implied he'd
never seen it before... "What happened to the other pictures"
Fitz wondered

"No one ever sent them to me, hmm. Must be that lousy mail
office again. Any ways it will work splendidly. We need as many
as possible, and obivously as soon as possible. Our carrier is
being started this month and we will need to build a new fleet.
We also are launching our first submarines since before the
Great Wars. It will take much time unfortunately, but we will
once again be able to project our might across the globe." The
Admiral realized he wasn't at a press conference and finished
off his whiskey before lighting another cigarette.
"So which of these fleets are you considering deploying,
friend?" He asked, offering Fitz whiskey and a cigarette.
