[move]BREAKING NEWS - THE PRESIDENTIAL PLANE HAS CRASHED[/move]
On the way back to the Nation's capital the Presidential plane
encountered heavy turbulence, struck an advertising sign and was
downed in a field. The president miraculously has survived,
however a blow to the presidential plane has still left a
lasting impression within the national industry for flying.
The crash has given protestors an excuse to stir up further
ruckus on pollution within the nation. The automotive industry
they claim has caused a large portion of the problems within the
nation. They also say that the clouds which caused the plane
crash may have been directly contributed to by mass pollution
within the nation.

Freedonia has put strict limits on the money supply and has
begun taking older currencies out of circulation.
In addition, a 4% tax has been placed on imports.
Because every oz of the Freedonian currency is backed by a
solid reserve of durable resources, Economic Ministers have
proposed the creation of a Global Banking system and propose the
use of the Freedonian OZ as a potential global currency. This
policy is currently in discussion.
