One month after Tu Ping was intercepted
The last of the surviving patients were being transferred to a
civilian passenger liner enroute to the RQH. Total fatalities
were at 43% the rest had survived but will be in convalescence
for a few more months. With the ships cleaned top to bottom the
merchant ships were taken to the RQH. Task Force 4.3 continued
on its 'routine' patrol. The Hospital ship and its escorts made
full speed to catch up with Task Force 6.

In the Straits of Ada the HHMS Rei Do an APA, one of the
amphibious assault ships of the RQH drops its anchor in a loud
rattling, clunking cacophony of noise and a huge cloud of rusty
red dust. Once the Anchor was set, the ships Boatswain's mates
dropped the side booms, while the cranes lowered the six sleek
fast attack craft into the water. After the evolution was
complete six landing ships converted to monitors were lowered to
the oceans surface. All twelve vessels were tied off, six per
side.
The HHMS Chin Wou escort carrier rendezvoused with two FP-201 Vo
Cay Gai seaplanes, the crew replenished the fuel and supplies
before they took off on patrol looking for questionable ships.
They were followed by four UH-10 Su Nuot ASW helicopters that
began a search pattern.
The two DDG's maintained a position providing overwatch to their
"flock".
Onboard the HHMS Rei Do, Marines and Navy commandos prepared
their gear for combat operations.
As soon as the home base for the pirates was pinpointed the RQH
would deliver a blow to destroy it permanently.

On the radio of the FP-201 seaplane a faint radio message was
received, a Mayday call from a cargo ship. CDR Wu contacted
several other craft in the area and was able to get a
triangulation for a rough location of the ship. Quite a distance
away, hour and a half away flight time. The closest ship was a
merchant ship, which he ordered to maintain a safe distance and
not to close with the captured ship.
On the radio again, he ordered the other aircraft to form a
search pattern hoping to relocate the ship which will have moved
by the time his plane would be in the area. Then he contacted
the RQH ships and gave them an update. Hoping to set up an
intercept with the ship, all assuming they were heading to
Surabaya.

In response to this information undisclosed Criterion business
men begin buying non-diseased persons from this operation, they
will be smuggled to Criteria under the cover of false pretenses
and brought via undisclosed means of transportation to the
International markets to be traded. Any coming to Criteria
automatically entire Drudgery which will put them to work as
Maids, Drivers, Technicians, Saleswomen, and other far less
demeaning jobs as the business leaders recognize that they have
been through enough harsh treatment. No harm, rape, or torture
of these women will be committed and humane treatment throughout
administered.
Please note that this is a non-governmental operation therefore
the Criterion government has no knowledge of it's existance
Edit: I knew someone would take this out of context, you realize
Criteria has been trading slaves this whole time... this is just
the first really public appearance.

Agents of the internal investigative bureau have come across
evidence that women are being forced into sexual prostitution
against their will, which runs contrary to the RQH philosophies.
Agents acquired Ming Sellah from Damuhan and have taken her into
protective custody. Her debriefing indicates that the syndicate
that is running this underground criminal network is located in
Huang city. Working out of a textiles shop. Two agents of the
Sohei are selected to run the operation on the ground with a
full IIB support team backing them.
Agents Van Chi and Bảo Vinh Tuân were both members of the
secretive organization of the Sohei. They had been working
together for two years now making them a well functioning team.
Van Chi stood about 5'10" with a muscular endomorphic frame his
light brown skin bore several terrible scars and beautiful
tattoos his head was shaved as is the tradition of Que Hung and
he wore a light weight dark gray suit. Bảo Vinh Tuân was
6'1" with a lithe muscular ectomorph frame. His body bore many
more scars as well as heavy callouses. He also sported some
incredible tattoo art. He was a bit of a darker brown, bald and
sported a light weight black suit.
Today the duo sat across from the textile factory playing
mahjong and watching the coming and goings, the flow of traffic
and feeling the general energies of the area. They sipped green
tea Tuan liked cinnamon sticks in his and was stirring it in the
tea as he watched the forth delivery truck of the day enter the
factory. After an hour they left. Heading to their current base
of operations one block away. After going five blocks around and
ensuring there was no tail they entered the old bookstore and
went upstairs.
The Intelligence Chief had some video ready to spool up as well
as wiretaps to hear. The Support Chief had made spicy lemongrass
rice and noodle soup, onion and mushroom dumplings and grilled
meatballs. So they all sat down and ate as they listened to the
wiretaps most of it was just standard factory orders and the
like but after several minutes Chi picked up a pattern to the
calls and orders. They were determining quantity, age and race
of the girls to be moved using a simple replacement code. As
they finished their meals they turned on the TV and started the
recording deck it was FLIR imagery from an overflight by a
government helicopter. They watched the tape over and over again
drawing the layout of the floor plan and comparing it to the
blueprints, which identified several false walls concealing
rooms of people. They were also able to determine the number of
guards by their routine movement in the factory. Only the second
floor was actually creating material and no one transitioned
between the floors. Finally the Intelligence chief brought them
some pictures taken from high altitude, these clearly showed
trucks leaving the factory and going to the docks as well as
trucks coming from the north to the factory mixed with real
delivery trucks.
...TBC...

The Ada Straits
The seaplanes and airships were all up and heading south.
Somehow the ship they were following had given the task force
the slip. Now the planes were looking further south on the
assumption the pirates would take it to nearby Surabaya.
Onboard the ships word was being passed of the devastating
earthquake but more importantly the tsunami it had caused as big
and powerful as the waves had been when they enter the Ada
straits they would go crazy. The waters were very shallow and
islands and channels of all sizes criss crossed creating weird
currents at the best of times. So word was passed to secure the
ships for strong seas.
The smaller FACS and Monitors were quickly brought onboard the
APA and tightly secured. Then storm chains were rigged to ensure
they stayed secure. Loose items were put away. All hatches were
dogged shut, porthole covers closed and bridge shutters secured
except for one. Nonessential personnel went to their racks and
strapped in. The galleys were secured, gas for the stoves shut
off. The ships spaced out putting a large distance between them
relying on radar and radio to maintain contact. Then they all
turned towards the Straits and the approaching turbulent water.
Already swells were reaching over 35' as waves smashed into each
other trying to work their way out of the straits. To make
matters worse a line of thunderstorms was passing through
blowing up whitecaps and dropping rain illuminated by lightning.
Within the hour waves were crashing over the bows and the ships
rolled side to side from waves that hit them broadside. There
appeared to be no common sense behind the waves actions. The
first real wave a 45' blew out bridge windows and broke loose
some deck furniture. As the bow pushed through the propellers
were actually left pinning in clear air before the ship slid
down the other side. Big ships were definitely having it easier
than the smaller ones. The Corvette Xin Mei actually rolled 360
degrees causing multiple casualties and a mainspace oil leak.
All hands turned to, too keep the ship afloat and prevent a fire
while the leak was repaired and the oil pumped overboard.
The worst came when a rogue wave smashed into the AZ Lin Min
May. She suffered extensive damage to the forecastle, bridge,
masts and the dirigible derrick. Metal spars and cables lay
twisted about the decks. Several fatalities had occurred,
several crewmen were missing and multiple injuries needed
treatment. Then as quick as it started it passed and the Straits
returned to their normal "calm" status.
