History
Grenetarian history began with that of the Nothern Boyuk
tribesman (Boyuk people are of Grenetarian Káhzičan and
Moriskovian decent) around years 700-800. The state of Severia
which was centered in Volgodovsk wich also included the modern
day Nakhodaskaya province populated by northern Boyuks
estabilished by the Severian chieftain Berømte Hersker around
785 (The most notable origin of Grenetarian history). Volgan
Gren one of the first united West Boyuk state founded by
Berømte's adversary Igor of Kurgan in 790 this civilization
defined Grenetarian culture for the next millennium. Later
Volgan Gren ultamately dissolved from civil war and other Boyuk
tribes fought for lands formerly controlled by Igor.
After the 13th century Volgodovsk began dominating
Grenetarian culture. By the end of the century all of the
Western Boyuk tribes were united under one state By the 18th
century the Tsardom of Grenetar rueled much of Simal Torpaq,
from Volgodovsk to northeastern Acadia. In the Tsardom much
distrust in the country had brewed up and due to much distrust
the people urged the government to abolosh Serfdom in Grenetar.
Because the abolition of Serfdom was not of terms that peasants
wanted, more distrust eventually sparked and later in 1911 a
Communist Revolution rose and began the fight known as the
Grenetarin Revolution 1898-1902, lead by the Communist party the
Narodnoy partii bol'shinstva, The Peoples Majority Party or NPBS

- Background: Born in the Grenetarian tundra near
Novorossiysk, Dimitri Putnikov had helped his mother and father
gather the things essential to living in the harsh tundra
enviornment as early as five years old, this live proved brutal
for small Dimitry Putnikov. When he was 16 years old, he moved
from the tundra to the city of Novorossiysk and later at the age
of 22 he joined the Grenetarian Revolutionary Communist Army
where he served as an artillery officer to fight against the
Grenetarian Tsarists or Imperials. During an attack on the
Imperial held capitol of Volgodovsk, Imperial infantrymen began
to counterattack on the Revolutionary artillery, the Communists
began to conduct direct fire (Direct fire refers to the
launching of a projectile directly at a target on a relatively
flat trajectory) an exremely risky maneuver, while doing so
charging Imperial infanrtrymen began firing at Dimitri's
artillery gun and shot Dimtri directly on the thigh. After
recovering from the wound the Revolutionary Communist Army
honorably discharged him and he moved to the Communist held
(Revolutionary) city of Noril'sk. There he began to be involved
in Communist politics, he rose through the hirearchy of The
Majority Party and became the head of the The Peoples Majority
Party. The Communist forces eventually took the city of
Volgodovsk after the third try and the Tsardom of Grenetar
became the Union of Grenetarian Socialist States.

Event: Week One.
Crowds gather from across the nation at the nation's capitol,
and work stops as people everywhere tune in for the most
celebrated and televised event of the year. The State of the
Nation is more than an affirmation of ideals, it is a moment of
collective pride.
Putnikov stands on a balcony overlooking the milling crowds of
thousands in the capitol square below, hands raised high,
drawing rousing cheers that rattle the glass behind him.
The strains of the national anthem rise, just barely audible
above the clamor as an orchestra begins to play.
He steps forward to the microphone to address his eager nation
and tell them of the greatness of nation, duty, and the
righteousness of their common struggle. It is set to be the
kind of event that will shape the minds of the coming
generation, and the crowd is on the verge of mania as Putnikov
motions for silence.
Quietude falls quickly as eager citizens strain to hear his
words.
"Today," he starts, "is a day that will live in the memories
of our people for decades to come. We embark on the greatest
endeavor a nation could..."
A sudden crackling sputters over the Public Address system and a
strange rhythm fills the air. It's obviously a recording of
music from the Allied Nations. Something their people call,
"Slander Rock" - a distasteful type of music to say the least.
It is the worst kind of decadent musical blasphemy that
encourages divisiveness.
Putnikov makes frantic motions for his men to find and stop
the source of the horrid cacophony when words begin.
"This is Jumpin' James Fonda, coming at you live from an
undisclosed location deep behind enemy lines. And I bring you
the wonder the Allied Nation song, "Sad Grenetar" by Jenna
Hendrix.
Just then, the lyrics begin, blaring out across the masses,
"Well you're the real small country with the short history
You're faking bleeding hearts, Moriskov wanna-be's
You're so weak, a fart of a nation
Just a single week from annexation

A handful of soldiers began frantically axing at the poles that
hold up the various elements of the PA systems, while others
shoot at transformer boxes trying to kill power to the systems.
Others, unaware of what is going on, begin intermittently firing
into the crowds.
All the while, as the crowds surge and flee from gunfire, the
lyrics continue, unabated, despite the best efforts to quell the
propaganda.

The music falls silent as power is finally cut to the square,
but the damage is done. The crowds have dispersed in a
trampling panic, destroying barricades and structures for at
least a mile. Dozens lie dead either crushed under the weight
of fleeing masses, or shot by uncertain guards - and aside from
a scant few, your entire people were witness to the whole of it.
Putnikov buries his face in his palm, uncertain of how to
recover from this PR nightmare, but he considers his response
carefully. His next actions could have far-reaching
consequences.

After the events of today of the 18dp disaster which included a
massive Earthquake along with a Tsunami the Confederate Republic
of Criteria of would like to ask for a relief effort by the
Grenetarian Socialist States to help to alleviate some of the
damage as we are currently not strong enough in our civil
services to take care of our people after such a mass
destruction period.
