Sit Rep:
Patagonian and Loch'Nomere diplomats are meeting at Embassy #1
to discuss an arms deal and trade rights renewals. The media has
covered this visit extensively leading us to believe Loyalist
elements have had plenty of time to organize and plan the
attack. At 0640 Loyalist forces ambushed a delivery truck taking
food supplies to the Embassy. The driver and crew were gunned
down and the truck stolen. At 0727 the truck arrived at the
kitchen entrance and stormed in killing two Patagonian personnel
and murdering three kitchen staff, injuring four more who
managed to escape as the Loyalists passed through. At 0730
Loyalists captured the lobby and gunned down three more
Patagonian guards and two staff while Loch'Nomere personnel
committed themselves to a holding action at the second story.
Patagonian security forces began escorting the diplomats to the
helipad atop the building. The Loch'Nomere personnel were killed
and a mortar strike targeted the helipad disabling the
helicopter before the diplomats arrived. It is known the
diplomats were captured and are being held on the second story.
A separate unit attacked a Loch'Nomere tv station and took
control of their equipment and are now airing live footage of
the diplomats. Two Patagonian personnel were executed on live tv
this morning at 0847 and demands are being made. Loch'Nomere QRF
units have surrounded the compound and a military unit on patrol
has encircled the tv station waiting for orders from the top.
Patagonia has been informed of the attack while Loch'Nomere
forces are gathering and preparing for a full assault on both
Loyalist positions.
Loyalist Demands:
The release of all Loyalist and Regime prisoners
The full dissolution of the unlawful Loch'Nomere government
The disarmament of all Loch'Nomere forces
The end of all military operations on Earlnoth and mainland
Europa
The end of Patagonian arms trades with the terrorist Loch'Nomere
The full withdrawal of Patagonian citizens from Loch'Nomere
The return with interest of all profits Loch'Nomere has made
from mineral trades
The full return of materials traded to Patagonia
The re-establishment of the Loyalist Regime
A permanent arms trade deal with the Loyalist regime with prices
not to exceed wholesale cost

President Moralez was on the secure phone with the government of
Loch'Nomere, "Mr. Mac'Namera we would like to send a response
force to your country, a small unit of special forces to assist
in regaining control of the embassy. We could have them on the
ground in your country in 6 hours if you agree. We will agree to
follow any rules of engagement your people sit and not act
without your approval. Is this something we can work out?"*

Mac'Namara looked listened to his translator and looked to his
Joint Force Commander, General Clemach. He pondered for only a
second before nodding to Mac'Namara with approval. "We agree to
this. You have permission to bypass protocol air space transfers
and fly directly to the Capitol City Aeroport. You will be met
the QRF Task Force commander. Over our waters you will be met by
a squadron of fighters and escorted inland. Objectives and
operations will be discussed on the ground. We hope this does
not impact future negotiations and would like to ensure you this
is NOT the work of Loch'Nomere citizens."

Time: 0910 Loch'Nomere standard time
The elite Serpente commando force's 1st platoon of Apache
company embarked with full kit and vehicles onto a C-124 Jumento
for the flight to Loch'Nomere. Capitao Andre Fonseca strapped
into his seat and opened his computer sliding in the disc from a
packet marked Segredo Cima and began reviewing the floor plans
of the embassy, the surrounding terrain and infrastructure.
After developing several possible plans and alternates to those
he shared the information with his Tenente and Primeiro Sargento
for their input. The rest of the men were either sleeping or
cleaning weapons. He settled back for the long flight.

SUB: Loyalist Equipment
New intel has come in regarding Loyalist equipment. They have
been spotted in Tenth Commando berets of the Loyalist regime.
They appear to be uniformed in blue jeans and grey army issue
sweaters. Armaments appear to be military rifles and Rocket
Propelled Grenades. It is believed that heavy machine guns are
also in the compound. One Loyalist was killed by a Loch'Nomere
sniper resulting in a prolonged fire fight. Two QRF personnel
have been wounded and one Loch'Nomere staff member was executed
on live tv. Snipers have reported that Loyalists are placing
explosives on the roof and booby trapping doors and windows on
all floors. The hostages are being moved from room to room based
on the change in environment every thirty minutes.

Time: 1300 Loch'Nomere standard time
Capitao Andre Fonseca yawned and looked at his watch, unbuckled
and did a few stretches, then scratching his nearly bald crew
cut head sat back down and buckled up. His men were mostly
sleeping like smart soldiers. He opened his computer and
reviewed the most recent data received. At the rate the
terrorists were going no one would be alive by the time they
landed. Which was okay because if plan delta was executed no one
would be alive anyway, he thought with a grim smile. As is it
was the terrorists seemed well trained and disciplined and the
frequent moving was going to make the strike that much more
difficult. Plan Charlie relied on high pressure fast acting
sleep agent, however it had a 20-30% fatality rate if the
antidote was not administered within 30 minutes. Plan Charlie
also relied on the types of explosives and detonators in use. He
would have that information shortly after arriving on scene.
They had a case of drones the size of flies that would be sent
in to deliver audio and video feeds back. So many options so
many possibilities.

"Serpent 1 to Barrow, explosives have been identified." Sgt.
Tooly reported. He looked through the scope on his rifle at the
roof first. They door was rigged with an explosive charge set to
detonate when opened, in front of it two claymores pointed out
to guard the door. The windows on the next floor were rigged to
blow with low yield explosives should the window be opened or
broken. The entrance of the embassy appeared to be set two
claymores set farther back from the door. He examined the
explosives and determined that should they be triggered only a
small blast would detonate out leaving the structure fine
overall. He reported over the information to Barrow, the QRF
base of operations. The decision to cut power had been a bad
one, the execution of a staff member turned it back on.
"Serpent 1 to Barrow, I have clear LOS to tango, orders?" Tooly
waited until the negative was given, his finger pulled away from
the trigger reluctantly. This was a tricky situation indeed and
he could not wait for the Patagonians to arrive. He hated the
thought of another nations force taking care of business on his
homeland, but what could they do? They had little experience in
dealing with hostages and the more dead civilians that mounted
up the worse it looked. Another attack had been launched across
town on the radio station, luckily a QRF force had been deployed
swiftly and killed all the Loyalists with only one civilian
wounded. Tooly looked up to see the fighter planes fly over
head, hopefully these Patagonians would be here soon with all
their technology and training. Thats when the world went black,
a sniper catching him in that brief moment.
"Tooly's hit!" shouted Mullen into his radio, only thirty feet
away. He dropped the scope on the sniper watching him scan the
roof top, the order came in to not shoot, but to hell with that,
Tooly was dead. He let his finger smoothly brush the trigger and
watched the sniper drop flat, his body was quickly dragged into
the roof top access and door shut. Orders came in over the
radios in a frenzy to hold fire and most complied, but Mullen
didn't. He crawled to Tooly's body, to late for any help. A
relief team rushed to the roof of the building and pulled the
pair away as another unit set up. Mullen was most likely done
for, but that Loyalist bastard was too. Mullen then realized
what this meant, were the explosives lining the door and windows
a decoy? It should have blown it was opened yet it didn't, just
maybe there was hope for those trapped souls, a way out not
involving their deaths.

Time: 1540 Loch'nomere Standard Time
In the Cockpit, Flight Tenente Garcia opened communications with
the approaching aircraft, "Fox flight this is Gabriel One we
appreciate the escort to your airfield." The Flight Tenente
reached over and brought all of the aircraft defensive systems
to full power.
In the passenger compartment; Capitao Andre Fonseca reviewed the
latest intelligence then shot a secure e-mail to 'Barrow'. "Is
the roof secured? If so we will go with operation Echo. please
respond soonest"

Capitao Andre Fonseca read the reply. Then he sent his own
double encoded reply. "Operation Echo - HALO jump - Rooftop
landing - Roof and upper Window breach - simultaneous breach by
Loch'Nomere forces through the waste water and utilities tunnel
into the basement - Mass use of Chemical Agent SY498 sleeping
gas. 1 minute to breach - Everyone zip tied and given antidote -
those with or near weapons hooded. - L forces clear basement
and floor 1, Serpente clear roof and floor 3 & 4 - IR beacons
set to frequency 4 for IFF - Radios frequency 1245 - expected
10-20% casualties - over.
