Little is known about when Albain was first founded as many of
the records were destroyed in a great fire about 400 years ago
but what is clear is Albain has always maintained health
international trade
In 1705 a lone miner called Kallik Rémthor struck gold one of
the small mountains, he pulled out a chunk of gold that weighed
95 lbs (43 KG), with it he founded Rémthor mining company and
hired hundreds of men to start digging, it was a huge gold vain
Rémthor Mining Company prospered for 15 years.
In 1720 Albain's 'Great Flood' happened it rained for 35 days
straight the people fled to the highlands to escape the rising
water, by the end of the rain fall all the lowlands were
underwater. The king at the time Reej-Ro Vasilk ordered the
construction of the city D'aois 201 Meters above sea level. Once
the waters receded the people slowly over the course of 15 years
carved a road out of the mountain side for carriages and carts
to get supplies up to the city of D'aois easier. Rémthor mining
company's shafts were flooded it just about bankrupted the
company to drain them, then when the company was at it's weakest
and struggling to survive the King bought Kallik Rémthor out, it
was now "Albain Cuideachta mianadóireachta Ríoga" (Albain Royal
Mining Company)
In 1863 Albain was at war with a smaller Nation calling
themselves "The Empire of tír" t'was a very bold claim as there
was only one Nation in their 'Empire' and they were still using
the old sail ships while Albain was using heavy Steam ships, the
war lasted just 4 months before the Empire of tír surrendered,
20 years later a volcano erupted on their small Nation killing
thousands including their king. The survivors landed on the
shores of the small island next to Albain and named it Zogan.
The 2 Nations have had a peace treaty and profitable trade
agreement since.
The Nation of Albain is built on a huge seam of coal because of
that all of Albains big industries, trains, and power plants run
on coal since it's cheaper than buying in fuel from other
countries.
