       You can join trains. Select 1 Loco and right click on another
       loco.
       A curved railway end from a map connects to the other map
       straight railway end, and vice versa.
       Another separate topic is how to stack trains.
       One can practice cheapely stacking trains first with 10 Locos
       and no wagons.
       When a train moves then all players on the map seems to hear it.
       Merging trains and other vehicles works but splitting a train
       group does not because a 3rd separate group would require a new
       loco. But splitting other vehicle groups works and does not
       require any loco or anything.
