The longer creation time of Wespes enables steel and aluminium
to recover to maximum level during the creation time of 1 Wespe.
Bredas require too fast steel recovery. If you have ca 50 bases
then probably you can make 3 sets of Wespes using automation. If
you get 350 bases on a map or ca 90% in other words then you can
probably use 2 bases to make automatically 3 sets of Wespes or 2
sets of Brums for free.
For example Ca 40 maximum factory bases can do ca 7 bredas
during the automation for free. Before making the 8th tank it
stops because the steel hasn't recovered yet.
With wespes there is little bit more time to recover and that
makes them a good choice and doesn't require to own a half map.
You can get close to 2% damage per second with pure Wespes only.
But Wespes are worse than bredas when you use Gpfs because
Wespes die quicker because of a small set size.
If you wait first L1 air bases to appear on the day 2 then you
may prepare 2 sets of Lancias or 2 sets of Wespes, both are a
fine choice. Later you use only bombers, bredas, Gpfs, and no
Wespes, no Lancias.
