Metriacanthosaurus Paddock
By: Parasaurolophus Date: May 2, 2012, 4:14 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
The Metriacanthosaurus Paddock used to hold the second largest
predator on Isla Nublar. Not it holds little Metriacanthosaurus
individuals, as usually the rest of the Metri's have either made
their own pack or have moved into other parts of the island.
Tyrannosaurus usually pass through this paddock after hunting in
the Triceratops Paddock or after leaving the North Dock. The
paddock is also home to some Dilophosaur's and many Segisaurus
and Compsognathus live here.

Mark busts through the 24 foot tall non-electrified fence and
bellows slightly. He stomps into the paddock and looks around
for other predators. When he thinks all is safe, he continues
walking. His thundering footsteps usually scare off any small
predator, but this wasnt the case for this young Dilophosaurus.
Mark stared at the animal, he knew Dilophosaur's were extremly
dangerous; one venomous blow to the eyes could make you
premantly blind in less than 2 hours. He roars slightly at the
dinosaur, but the Dilophosaur just hisses angrily, but does not
attack. Warily, Mark begins to slowly circle the Dilophosaur,
trying not to attack it. The Dilophosaurus begins shrieking
angrily, then exposes a frill from his neck. "Time to get out of
here." Mark thought. He bellowed as loud as he could, and then
dodged to the side, and charged head first at the Dilophosaurs
side, sending it flying into the air. Swiftly, the Dilophosaurus
hops back onto it's legs, apparently undamaged. Mark bellowed in
confusion, "That would have killed a Dilophosaurus in one shot."
he thought. He ignored the thought, and opened his jaws and
clamped into the side, and crushed the bone, killing the
dinosaur instantly. As a reward, Mark dug into the neck, and
began eating. He opened the neck, and saw 2 glands on the inside
of the neck. Mark knew not to eat that' that was where the venom
was created in a Dilophosaurus. Since Jurassic Park scientists
never performed a autopsy on a Dilophosaurus after the Nublar
Incident, nobody knew where the venom came from. But all the
dinosaurs that dined on Dilophosaurs knew where it came from.
Mark bit into the side, and within 3 minutes, he was famished
with the corpse. After drinking from a nearby stream, he
continued on his way to the Tyrannosaurus Paddock.
