       Stegosaurus Paddock
By: Dr. Dromaeosaurus Date: April 17, 2012, 10:05 am

Stegosaurus still roam this paddock, but predators like
Proceratosaurus and Metriacanthosaurus stalk amongst the thick
jungle, hunting the Stegosaurus individuals. One peculiar fact
is that the Stegosaurus paddock consists of tropical paleo
jungle, unlike the other paddocks, making it more exotic.

Bellows roared from the prehistoric flora as several rows of
plates moved through them. This was a herd of 4 Stegosaurs, the
only thyreophoran in Jurassic Park. Their leader was an
experienced male called Spike. He bellowed again, scaring away
the smaller carnivores Segisaurus and Compsognathus that were in
the area. Spike's eyes looked out of the trees that surrounded
him and into a large clearing resting near the river. The
massive bulk of the Stegosaur turned towards the running water
       and walked into the clearing.
To the northwest, screams echoed through the clearing. The
Stegosaurs knew that these called came from the Pteranodons that
live in the Aviary. Harmless creatures, the Stegosaurs had
nothing to worry about. Spike approached the edge of the river
and dipped his head into the cool, refreshing water. The other
members of the herd also did this, allowing themselves to cool
       off.
Finishing his drink, Spike turned away from the river and began
to munch on the green flora of the clearing.
