       Mistake on Crichton's Part?

I re-read Jurassic Park again, and i carefully looked at a page
where it show 1 Tyrannosaurus still alive, then on the camera's
it shows the baby tyrannosaurus attacking the last Stegosaurus.
How can this be? If the baby killed the adult, i have major
trouble imagining that. How did the adult die? Help me out,
       please.

Well, we never see the rex waking up out of its peaceful dreams
at the bottom of the waterfall. He could have drowned in that
position. Either way, we never see the adult rex again after
       that.

But Muldoon said that the T-Rex couldnt drown in that position.
       :/

Remember that the sensors cover 92% of the island. One of the
places not covered is the river. So, if a dinosaur was to be
knocked out cold in the river, it would not show up in the
       tally.

Great memory, but the Rex was knocked out by the river, so-
wait, it still wouldnt matter, the Waterfall wasnt on the motion
sensors range of detection, wasnt it? I know it was not recieved
by the River, but what about the waterfall, which is closer to
       the computer room?

That's a good question. I would think that the waterfall
wouldn't be monitored for the same reasons as the river. And the
only time the water under the waterfall would be still is if the
power is turned off, which would mean that the computers and
       sensors are also turned off.
