Cole sits down in a metal chair in a
S.H I.E.L.D interrogation room through the one way glass is a
group of people that go out the door.
The titans, the justice league, the avengers, xmen, and many
other heroes
Cole regains his composure
"There's no way you'd know what he-...what...you did back when
he was that young."
The man across from Cole chuckles
"Why are you here! Your not an alternate reality version. Your
not a clone. Jeez I can't belive those were the first thoughts
that came to my head."
"You care for him, as do I which is why you are going to let me
go. I willingly agreed to this questioning after all."
"This questioning was just you telling us stories!"
"Good ones though. Memories of a life that seems so far away."
"When did you get so pretentious."
"Id ask you the same." The man replies
Cole grunts and slams his fist against the table
"You can't stop him, but you know that. He will stop at nothing
to get him, he's going to murder each and everyone he knows." He
looks through the one way mirror somehow making eye contact with
inferno "your all going to die screaming, unless you let us help
you."
"Then what do we do!"
"If have one more story."
Cole sits down "go on."
the man leans forward from the shadows revealing Donovins face
"This is how it happened, this, is how the Flash died."

A TV clicks on and a voice speaks
"Hello kid flash. I'd like to play a game."

"For the last year or two, you have run around, playing dress-up
and fighting criminals. While some may argue you help people,

treadmill will start quickly gaining speed. You use your
superpower to risk your life. Now you will use it to save
yourself. S.H.I.E.L.D. has you top speed clocked in at 225 mph.
This treadmill will reach 300 mph in 5 minutes. After that you
must stay on for 2 more minutes. After that a key will fall and
allow you to unlock your chains. If you do fall, the sticky
substance on the floor will prevent you from moving. Then
quickdry cement will flow in through the tubes connected to the
tub. I think you will be able to see what happens next. The
chains do have enough slack to allow you to fall in. Good
luck."
The TV shuts off and the treadmill starts, gaining speed
quickly.

long to realize how much truth he was saying."

Right before he falls he slowly begins walking forward
"Fine whatever."
The voice continues to play over and over in his head as time
slows to a crawl in his head as he examines every inch of the
room

speeds.....like....I'm pretty sure it would have broken by now."
He speeds up
"Being a super hero since the age of 12 has an effect on people.
Especially when your power grows with age. I went from fighting
people like hammerhead and kingpin to Darkseid and the
antimonitor. It's hard to not be sure I was gonna be fine."

reaching 150.

The streaks eyes begin to glow golden as lightning cracks in
them and he slowly makes it up the treadmill
"What this should have proved is that I needed to get out of
there. What this said to me was that I had no problem getting
through this maze."

"We get it you were on a treadmill so what?"
"Okay I guess we're not doing world building.."
"I wouldn't if I were you Joker... One more step and the bird
gets it."
He points up at robin with his hands tied and a noose around his
neck.
"This is the true final test, let me go, or let Robin die."
He starts walking toward the door, as the Joker starts to follow
him.
Suddenly a lightning crash is heard and a group of men appear
all dressed in different costumes but sharing a common theme
A lightning bolt in the center of the chest
"Kid flash. I'm the flash, and so is all these others. Come with
us if you want to live."
