Growth Spurt

Louie walks through the streets of New York with Robin. It's
been 3 months since the trigon incident and the loss of his
X-gene. While he doesnt live the super hero life style anymore,
he does all he can to help. Still he is bored often.
"I heard the new Captain America movie was awesome, wanna see it
Dick?"
"I wish I could but you and I both know that I'm busy."
"Yea yea..."
"Well I got to go keep the team on schedule, I will talk to you
later."
"Sure."
Robin runs into an Alley and disappears.

"Captain America: Civil War, ticket for one."
"Here you go sir."
Louie walks into the theater and sit down as the movie.
"Hopefully i dont rip myself inhalf while i do it."
All eyes are glued to the screen as antman grows gigantic.
"Holy shit! Bomb!"
Louie looks at the screen confused not seeing any bombs as ant
man stomps. Then he hears beeping and it clicks he turns around
just as the bomb goes off. Louie closes his eyes as the odd
colored explosion envelops him.

Louie opens his eyes and is still sitting in his chair. The
only difference he could see is that he was smaller then before.
Approximatly the size of a bug. Trying to make sense of what
is happening he hears a buzzing as a flying ant lands next to
him with a whole through its mid-section.
"Oh shit."
Suddenly Ant-man is thrown infront of Louie. He gets up as
YellowJacket lands. Yellowjacket fires a blast at antman, who
dodges. Louie barely dodges this blast also. The two continue
fighting on the chair. Louie runs into the fight tackling
yellowjacket. Ant-Man takes the que and jumps ontop of them
pounding YJ into the chair.

"Guys remember that old movie, Star wars?"
"Tony how old is this kid?"
"I dont know, youngish?"
The movie still plays in the background as the fight continues.
YellowJacket blasts the two off of him and flies above them he
starts blasting stingers. Antman dodges the blasts the best he
can. Louie runs to the back of the chair while YellowJacket
keeps his focus on Ant-Man. He climbs up to the arm rest, runs
to the edge and jumps, grabbing YellowJacket. He slams him to
the floor below.

Ant-Man jumps down to the floor to see Louie roll off of
YellowJacket, whos suit is now smoking. Ant-Man delivers a
final punch to YellowJacket, knocking him out.
Louie climbs to his feet.
"Wow kid, why the hell did you do that?"
"Why not, you looked like you needed a little help."
"But how? Most adults would be too scared to do what you just
did, hell i wouldnt be too excited either."
"If you really want to know i will tell you later, but I need to
know somethings first."
"Is it something like, what was that bomb, why was it there, and
why am i small and not dead or in the Microverse."
"The what?"
"Nothing."
"Ok... Well other then the Microverse part, yes that pretty much
covers it."

"Well its a long story, story but ill try and shorten it. A
terrorest organization named A.I.M. was given a large amount of
Pym Particles to do with as they pleased. These can either
shrink you down or make you grow if they touch you. They have
made bombs full of these. This was the first of many."
"Is there a way to reverse it if we dont have an Ant-Man suit
for everybody here?"
"Well yes."
He pulls out a blaster.
"This is full of enough pym particles to make everyone here
normal sized again, give or take a few inches. The problem is I
only have enough for one blast and it wont cover the entire
theater like the bomb did."
"So what do we do?"
Ant-man spots a full bucket of popcorn on the floor.
"Do you like your popcorn with or without butter in it?"

Ant-Man starts loading up the gun while Louie goes around
getting people to jump from their chairs into the popcorn. He
dumps the popcorn out and AntMan blasts them. They grow back to
normal and look around at gigantic popcorn and popcorn bucket.
The people file out confused leaving the theater empty.
"The cops will be here soon so can you tell me why the hell you
put yourself in danger like that."
"I'm used to it, I used to be a hero."
"Yea sure and i bet you fought that big demon guy too."
"I did actually."
"Ok so your crazy."
"No I'm Inferno."
"Ok kid, well we should go before the cops show up, but meet me
at this address by the end of today. I got a friend I want you
to meet."

6 HOURS LATER, 9:00 PM
OUTSIDE THE PYM RESIDENCES
"Scott! No! I'm not even thinking about it."
"Come on Hank! This kids got potential! He threw himself off
of the armrest at a fully armed villain."
"It's to dangerous for a teenager!"
"Oh but it was ok for me to join."
"You had most of the skills."
"If this kid is who he says he is he would have all prior
skills."
The doorbell rings.
"Fine we will test him and I'll see if I can talk to Professor
Xavier and see if the story is true."
Scott quickly dresses into his Ant-Man uniform and answers the
door, and is immediatly knocked out as a man with a white skull
mask storms into the house.

BACK AT THE MOVIE THEATER
A young man from central city sneaks into the theater and sits
in the now free seat. He eats Louies popcorn and drinks his soda
as he watches the movie
The second credits scene shows spider-man swinging across new
York and suddenly a red streak runs infront of him
"Whoa! Who are you?!"
"Me? I'm the fastest man alive."
Appalled he turns to the man sitting next to him
"Was that the flash?!"
"Uh ya. Dumbass casual."
He looks at the screen
THE FLASH WILL RETURN IN THE FLASH (2017)
"This is the worst possible thing that's occurring today."

30 minutes later Louie walks to the house and knocks.
"Hmm... No answer. This definately is the right address."
He looks at the door to see it is ajar. He opens it.
"Hello... Anyone in here?"
As he enters the house he sees the house a mess and a beeping
device under a broken table. He moves the table and sees a
tablet. He turns it on and Hank Pym's face appears on screen
while a locked door is being hit behind him.
"Hello, if you are who you say you are, me and Ant-Man are in
need of help. The Villain task master has come and taken me and
Ant-Man, most likely hired by A.I.M. to study more about Pym
Particles. It's going to be difficult without proper training,
but we dont have any other choice. There should be an older
model of the Ant-Man suit in the locked door in the basement.
Put this Tablet on the door and it should open. I have a tracer
on the current Ant-Man. Please track us down and save us."
The video ends.
"Looks like I'm coming iut of retirement."
He runs down towards the basement.
