Albert delivers omar his nightly dinner and anime manga
"Good evening master delevega."
"Albert."
" your protein, caffeine, creatine, Listerine standard, so.
Justice flavored."
"This tastes like codine and sprite."
"........fuck."
Omar puts the drink down and suits up
"What do you think albert? It's been a while. I have to give em
everyrhing I got then some. They'll be expecting it."
Albert chuckles "Ah ha ha master omar....you know I'm not
allowed to think."
Owlman jump into the owlmobile and takes off
Astro is a shriek in the night...
Astro is.....a fist at the window.
"You were right nig1 the road couldint be more-"
Darkness swallows the city
"Albert the whole city just went black. There's no going back
now."
"I'm checking whether it was natural or not."
"It's never natural. Not in this city."
Astro is...."dangerously comfortable until it's just dangerous."
Owlman stands infront of the inmates as they come running at him
"Heh I like the metal cape is that purple on the inside?"
"I don't know. Why don't you come and take a closer look?"
The inmates rush and red lasers shoot down preventing them from
continuing
"Did you think we only had the one power source owlman?" A
security guard says
"Oh....of course not."
If they're not attacking from above...they have to attack from
the ground
A group of people in suits and owlmasks row a boat
Astro is skies of dark gray
Gotham is boats made from bone
"Which one is it? They're are thousands."
"That one. Get closer." One touches a building on the scale
model of the city and three owl masks appear
"You....are not welcomed."
"But we thought. Is this not the start of it?"
"No."
"The strigade is almost ready."
"But the mantling!"
"No!"
Astro is waiting for the shoe to drop
Astro is waiting for the axe to fall
Owlman sits on a cell tower as he sees a light flick on in an
apartment
"There you are."
Owlman busts in and sees a man scared
" you recognize me don't you? Your stuff for dogs? It's true I
used to be in the whisper getting as a kid. I was deep in, but
you... 5 years ago when you were looking for the hours, you took
us down. You were touching my face to a moving train actually
all of our faces, so I should say. The magnet hell is until the
cops showed up at the next station. The whole thing though it
changed my life. I mean you could have killed us but he gave us
a chance I'm in school now, I work here at The Gazette. I write
the Astro is column I have been for a while now. I've never
missed a week either we could do tomorrow I figured I could come
in and use a mini generator for the upload."
Owlman turns to the window
"Stay in school."
Astro is... Constantly surprised I can only hope you're reading
this album in case you don't know, just call and ask the people
of the city to answer one question. Astro is what? These
letters, they come in every week, then the columns official
writer talks about how the times are reflected in them. It's one
of the oldest columns at the paper. And better writer than me I
worked on it. What I like about it that as much as it's written
by a single person it's really created by the people who send in
all the letters. And when I start of year? The letters coming in
with pretty dark, pretty hopeless tonight I've been listening
old ones here. But lately the past few years the letters been
lighter than before. Even when the city hasn't. I was trying to
show how much has changed but I realize now that might be hard
for you to see. Because I will man, you always see us at our
worst and ugliest you forgive us and tell us we can do better
and more and more lately we believe you. I hope you can see that
if not in this car than the faces of the people you protect even
if just for one moment, even if it's just for tonight I hope you
look around the city and get this he is not at her worst so that
our best... And take a quiet night to yourself. A night off
Owlman lands on the tallest building in Astro
"You're not gonna belive this! I was right. It was natural just
a tremor. The power should be back on any moment."
The power hums back to life as the sun rises over the city
"Understood. Still watching just in case."
