FUT14 - Trading Tips / Web App / Coins

So FUT14 is nearby, what are your plans?
- are you gonna trade if they pre-release the web app like last
year?
- are you focussing on certain players/league?
- Gold/Silver/bronzes?
- spend money on packs?
- etc.

Going with what Lewis said in general chat, with so many people
realizing that first week IFs rise so much I feel they'll be
very hard to get a hold of.

Yeah I here what you say, might be a case of picking the right
IF(s) to invest in.
And my FUT14 will be a purely profit based exercise.

I imagine it will go something like this.
-promise myself I won't spend any real money on packs
-get massively disappointing starter packs and spend hours on
the Web app to make 20 odd k
-get game disk... Realise I have no coins to make a team
-spend 30 quid on packs get nothing apart from 100k in discards
-trade for 10 minutes, get bored buy team.
-play 4-5 games moan about game mechanic's and the abuse of
pace..
-sell team after a bad run, buy new team win a few lose a few
sell
-moan on forum about handicapping, lag and other ways of blaming
losing on that isn't doubting my own skill
-repeat the last two steps for the rest of the year..

- Buy rare players on FUT13
- Trade on FUT14 web app
- Invest
- Trade
- Sell coins :D
- Sell rare FUT13 players for heavily inflated prices
- Sell coins :D

It will be interesting to see what the changes are, but I think
people are over-estimating how much of an effect these
game-changer cards will have on the performance of your players.
That is unless they really have re-jigged the whole chemistry
system that runs behind the game.
I remember when they adjusted the chemistry for UT11, and you
could really feel the difference compared to 10. That year even
a 80-90 ovr chem team would get the treatment. This year it
seems chemistry has been much less of a factor.
As for UT14, I don't think I will be playing it that much. I
will definitely buy FIFA 14 and be playing H2H and Pro Clubs.
And will have a little look at my starter packs and the player
database when it inevitably gets hacked and leaked in the next
couple of weeks.
In previous years I would have spent an additional £20-50 the
first week only to get a head-start on trade, as it pretty much
sets you up for the year. But with the proliferation of
autobuyers, coin-selling sites, and price-fixes across the
entire market by 12-18 year-olds (and adults) with nothing
better to do, I really don't see the point in investing the same
sort of time as I did in 10, 11, and 12.
So in short I'll probably watch carefully how UT14 is received,
and then maybe save any coins earned from starter packs until
Christmas/January and build then, and that's only if the game
isn't as horribly broken as it has been this time round.

Think i'll be sticking with BSG mixes until the game is settled,
can't be arsed playing try hards all the way through divisions,
so i'll wait till the good players seperate themselves from the
bad ones ;D Won't be getting Fifa 14 till next gen anyway so
hopefully all will have settled by the time I get it.

If I knew how the rep system worked on here, I would send you
some good vibes :D
The ironic thing is, if EA spent just a little bit of time and
money on improving their servers, on how we connect to games,
and on investigating the negative effect the connection has on
the way the game plays in terms of lag and latency, then they
would cut a huge percentage of the 'handicap' chat they have
tried so desperately to eliminate from the community.

all good ideas. Not sure yet what to do. Well buy the disc. :D
At least I have step 1
last year I played bronzes only in the last 3/4 months (last
month i actually had a Messi team). This year I have turned
again to bronzes. I am a bit afraid that the Gold nonsens will
still exist in FUT14. So I guess I will make two good bronze
teams, buy every bronze player with more than 80 pace for
selling purposes. And trade on the Golds. May be I spend x
amount of money on it as I know I will have a huge return on
investment when selling off coins. next year probably around
TOTY release. Think people are eager to get coins than,
buying an IF in the first week is a good thing. Did bought that
Boussafa for 15K and sold him for 50K later on.
Althouhg I hate PF-ers, we could jointly buy all IF's on a
certain player and make money later on. ;D
